The HTC One E8 is supposed to be around $350-400, and it’s just a One M8 with a plastic body, but it hasn’t been announced for North American release yet. It’s out overseas, though.
The Oneplus One goes against my two strikea of no SD slot and no removable battery and I’d still seriously consider it because it would mean I could use whatever SIM I wanted overseas with LTE.
I get 2G in USA with my SK Telecom Note 2 because they don’t use USA LTE bands.
So I went full white girl and dropped my phone. The screen is shattered, nothing displays.
How do I know if I need to replace both the screen and the digitizer, as the screen itself is a $15 part shipped, but the digitizer is a significantly different animal.
funny how cheap smartphones have near unbreakable bullet proof gorilla glass…while really expensive smartphones have paper thin delicate as dandelion crackly crystal glass.
suspicious much?
Sweet, Xperia Z3 is coming to Tmobile… and it will launch pretty much same time as the rest of the world this fall. I’m eligible to jump again November so I’m pretty excited.
new moto X is supposed to be super good with average battery life and camera.
I’m all about the note 4 though. hopefully the new ois in the camera fixes the low light photos.
I have the moto 360 but don’t really like it. android wear just isn’t ready yet imo. battery life is meh and that black bar at the bottom is so unsightly. I’m interested in the galaxy gear s though.
I’m pretty happy about the iPhone announcements just because it will make the size of the note seem normal now. plus rectangular watch screens will be the norm now.
I’ll stick with my Note 3 and Nexus 5 for at least another year. I’m satisfied with the performance of both devices. I can’t justify upgrading from the Note 3 to the Note 4. I don’t think it’s worth the upgrade at this time. The Note 3 was a workhorse during EVO this year. I used a Zerolemon extended battery and didn’t need to charge my phone until I got back from Vegas on Monday night. The Nexus 5 is a great backup phone. It’s a keeper because of its low price. I cracked my Nexus 5 screen a few months back and Google still gave me a one-time replacement at no additional cost.
I have kyocera event with a month-to-month from Virgin Mobile I bought in an emergency situation when I was stranded in the boonies on my job after hours with my old cell drenched and dead. It sucks at a few things, but until recently, I didn’t want to do anything more than talk and text on it. Now I want more. How hard is it to buy a better phone (galaxy or something), and transfer your account to that device?
