Anybody have suggestions for a good bluetooth controller that isn’t the DS3?

Half-Life 2 is on android

It’s not called the “Square Enix Price” for nothing. (I made up that term…I’m the only one using it)

All of their ports are sold at a premium. They always gotta charge way more than the norm. The lack of voice acting is bad, because that’s half the experience of DQ8 right there. But I suppose if they did include it, the game would be way bigger than Google Play could handle, and most people’s devices as well.

Galaxy S5 > HTC M8 > Droid Maxx

I love the feel and look of the Maxx (battery/cost is superior), but the S5 smashes it in everything else. Removable battery, expandable storage, display and so on…but I really liked the Maxx and its probably a lot cheaper if that makes a difference.

The M8 naked is the sexiness hands down…but if you are using a case you loose its main advantage.

S5 = performance/utility (water and dust resistant, removable battery)
Maxx = low cost/battery is superior/love the durable kevlar
M8 = sexiness/sexiness/sexiness

Ever since I got my Xperia Z… water/dust resistant is like a key feature I want for all my phones now. It’s so convenient when it’s dirty knowing you can just run it through some water. I wish the Z2 was coming to tmobile. I might have to just get a S5.

Honestly, I want a camera that can take good pictures at night. I hate how all comparisons only show photos during daytime.

Versus Addict,

I actually got the Galaxy S5 6 weeks ago.
I’m really liking it. Thanks anyway for your recommendations.

I’m on the fence between purchasing the M8 or the S5. They both have the same processor and RAM, but I’ve seen reports of the S5 having a laggy interface. I know the M8 only has a 4 (ultra) mp camera, compared to the S5’s 16 mp, and the S5 has better (and removable) battery. HTC has better speakers and is more aesthetically pleasing, but not waterproof. But are there any other game breakers I should be aware of between the two? How is 4G reception (Verizon)? Right now I’m leaning toward HTC.

Well, I just switched from Verizon to T-Mobile (saving a lot of money). Coverage in and around a major city like Chicago isn’t an issue…if I was rural, it would be Verizon no question. I got full bars in the middle of Wisconsin and Michigan on Verizon where everybody else had little no reception on multiple carriers.

Yeah, you pretty much covered it…hard choice. Personally I would go with the S5 because I take a lot of pictures and always run a case, but yeah…the M8 is sexy as hell. Way better speakers for sure, but I run earbuds and BT so I never really use mine on the Note 3 even though its decent I guess…

I’m gonna pick up a flagshippy phone soon, but I’m not looking to spend more than about $400. I’ll be looking either at the Moto X (or X+1 when it ever comes out, depending on debut price), OnePlus One (If and when you can actually buy them), or HTC One E8. Hopefully I don’t wait long enough that the new Nexus phone becomes an option.

The official M8 case AFAIK pretty much makes up for hiding the sexy metal casing by having some sexy bells and whistles itself.

Trying to decide which phone to get for my dad tomorrow… Leaning towards the Nexus 5, but the LG G2 at tmobile is also the same price, $400. What do you guys think? I know the G2 has a better battery… but the volume rocker on the back seems so gimmicky and I personally don’t like it. Nexus 5 looks like a good starter smartphone.

Also question, does leaving wifi on when you aren’t connected drain battery? I keep hearing conflicting reports, and personally I don’t notice anything when it’s off/on… same with Bluetooth.

If you let your phone idle…usually all connectivity aside from to the phone tower for phone service is cut. Otherwise even if you leave wifi on but not connected then your phone still scans for wireless networks. So yes it can still drain your battery.

Bluetooth…not too sure…it really only does an initial scan then another scan when you request it and only broadcasts you if you tell it to.

Heh… Tmobile now lets you stream music from the big apps like Pandora and Spotify for FREE. It does not take up your data usage. Just waiting for them to add Google Play Music on that too and I will probably never use data outside of GPS when I’m away from wifi.

I decided on the Galaxy S5 and I have no regrets.

This is my fucking ring tone:

anyone here bought the oneplusone phone? have any invite? hook a brother up?? :coffee:

generally leaving wifi means its still scanning for signal so yeah you would be losing battery but I don’t think its much. my wifi is always on and I still get a full day with my international S3(has cyanogenmod tho)

my ringtone is SF2 ken’s stage theme. My notification tone is the watch chime from For A Few Dollars More(without orchestral accompaniment).

but nothing beats your ringtone dude lol!

Good luck on the Oneplus One. Nobody knows when it’ll actually be available to more than a handful of people. Specs and price are sick, though.

coming soon for android & iphone

Can anyone recommend the best extended battery for a Samsung Galaxy S5? Is it possible to get a good quality one above 5000mah at a good price? And not some cheap ebay battery either.

thats why I was asking here lol. I will dig around and probably find an invite. I dont really NEED another phone yet but for 300 that phone is super nice.

if I had money to burn id get the LG G3. thats easily the best phone of the year and some.
