Welp…Apple just posted the bond and the Galaxy Nexus is now not available for sale from Google: http://t.co/q2i23bh7

It is banned! :wow:

finally getting ICS for my Razr MAXX!

It’s because of LTE radio. Currently there are no quad core processors that can work on LTE networks.

has anyone got the S3 yet?

I was going to do that but I dont feel like writing my contacts down/backing them up. Yeah im lazy. Oh well tho

So this dude at my job was saying the new evo is better than the s3…i looked up reviews on both and got mixed answers. What do yall think?

So quick Q, what is the best recommended Music Player App? I have tried a bunch but what I really want is an easy way to transfer files from my playlists as they are without having to manually do everything from my phone.

i used to use the winamp app a lot, but now i just use google music player. its pretty nice to just stream my music instead of having to load it all onto my phone. best part is that it syncs almost automatically.

winamp had a wireless sync option as well, but i never really got it to work.

Google Music is getting a lot of phone time for me. You keep the library on the Google servers after spending however long uploading it, and then you can go into any album or song and ‘make available offline’ so it’ll automatically download them to the phone for off air playing. It’s quite convienent.
Now, getting the whole library uploaded, that’s been problematic so far, but using it with the files that are already up, very nice.

I hit there 20k song limit…also you can’t organize the music once you upload. But other than that I like it

Wow, that Google Music app is godlike. Thanks.

My phone company finally pushed 4.03 for my SGS2 and it’s Steve Urkel “did I do that” levels of bugginess. If you have ICS, and it’s actually stable, what version are you running?

Who is your carrier? Tmo? Better off running CM9, which is using ICS as a base.

After using Apple products for so long, I forgot how awesome Android was. Digging the Nexus 7 so far. I’d use Google Music if I didn’t love Spotify. But seriously, Google gives you $25 credit for their app store and $10 in your Google wallet.

Like, damn. Thanks.

My carrier? Doco… mo.

What does rooting do? I really have completely no interest in playing games or anything out of the ordinary on my phone. Do the custom builds or whatever just run better than regular Android?

Been using iphone only since 2007 and was going to wait for the mini ipad but instead bought a Nexus 7. Damn you get a whole lot for only $200 and they give you a free lunch with google wallet. Only thing it’s missing is being able to connect it to a TV but that’s no biggie. Android os is pretty damn nice.

In short, yes, custom builds run better and are better optimized from the developers than stock roms. CyannogenMod 9 runs off of AOSP, or a stock Google build. It does not have the user frontend like Samsung’s TouchWiz, or HTC’s Sense. None of the frontend is tied into the ROM and it’s interface at all. Rooting the SGS2 is relatively easy. If you’re interested, let me know. You may just have to plug into Docomo’s APN settings to get data going on your phone after you flash/root it.
