Iām not sure if your question was for me or AmeriKen, but for me going there every 4 -6 months for the past 4 years and some of the time having to be myself as I wait for my fiance to get off workā¦ yes my english does get rustyā¦ because sometimes I tend to dumb down my english for Japanese to understand or I just speak basic Japanese most of the timeā¦ but it all comes back to you
oh and about online play in Japan concerning top playersā¦ Well I hear that most top players only play in arcades, BUT! AmeriKen told me Mago plays online quite frequentlyā¦ something about wanting to fight other top players in Japan that are not in the Tokyo area or just to fell out others.
I barely remember, but I remember how we were talking about how most top players are in the tokyo area and Mago found ways to play others from the other regions via just going there or online play. Its kind of interestingā¦ But I think AmeriKen told me even though Radiowave is one of the top ranked fighters BP wise with his Sagat, since heās from Hokkaido and ranked up there, him coming down to Tokyo to play at Big Box before SBO was pretty difficult for him because most of Japans top players play in Tokyo area. Radiowave is still damn good though if you seen his 11 win streak at big box in one of my videos on youtubeā¦ but Ameriken was able to end it.

I said Mago is maybe the only or one of the FEW, and of course he would play at arcades mostlyā¦ but he uses online also for whatever reason. He has an Xbox gamertag I believe. So yea in majority of top players yes its a myth but its not that farfetched to know just one guy uses it. I could be wrong, I am just going by what AmeriKen told me since he talks with Mago and I think there is a website that lists top player matchups and Magoās gamertag is next to him
And about AmeriKen not postingā¦ we email off and on since I been back from JApan, but from what I could tell from that guy he is not really into the internet thing and he truly does just goes to Big Box after work most of the time and goes home to chill haha when he posted in this thread it was his first time knowing about SRK and our SFIV scene hereā¦ but if you have any questions feel free to ask me and Iāll try emailing it to him and hopefully heās not too lazy to type something back in depth.
