Mago was near the top of XBL right at release, but since he’s gone berserk with BP for the arcade system, that came to a stop.
I don’t think anyone doubts they play console games, but considering the insane amount of BP these players are getting each week, I doubt it’s more serious than arcade play
Dude, that’s not what I meant at all. It’s the same shit you and your friends would be talking about when you’re on your own about some hot girl. But this is a public forum so I made a joke reference to Sabin’s girl possibly seeing this and maybe not being cool about it. You’re blowing things way out of proportion.
Wow I didn’t realize Kindebu also hit 100k+ with his Viper. I’d like to see more of his in action as well considering he’s only 6 spots under the champ. That’s pretty sick for someone to be 100k+ with 2 characters. If u add his points together he’s technically 4th place.
Yea lets move on shall we… but yea I do like how Sabin and I both mentioned that in Japan players share strats… it really does make their community be better as a whole… and these strats that they talk about arent strats that will easily alter the tide for casual gamers. The strats and “secrets” they share all seem pretty high level and only can be done with good execution and good reaction. One thing to know the strat but an entirely different thing to execute it effectively… I still want to be able to that kara tiger shot that was posted and even if I get it down I cant be excited yet just because after that i need to learn how to use it properly. BUt of course I do understand why we keep strats to ourselves…becaus eof the fact money is more involved here than over there… but when it comes to country growing in skill with this game they have just the right communication for it, thats how AmeriKen got damn good… I dont think he figured out EVERY SINGLE thing out himself or really a lot of the players of various characters gave him some pointers and after that it was all about execcution, reaction, and instincts for him. And surely he did find any things on these forums just simply ebcause he didnt even know about SRK until now. Freakin hyperbolic time chamber with open communication over there
Yea pretty crazy… Momochi is on their twice too I think.
It still bugs me that AmeriKen lost his first card and a funny thing is that when i was there I saw Daigo accidentally forget his card, but the next player quickly gave it back to him… but in my mind I was like OMG what would it be like to have taken that card as a Daigo fan from OKlahoma hahaha seriously unethical I know haha but it was a fun thought.
I didnt meet him, meet him, but I could swear I walked passed a person by that name at big box playing ken and the first thing I thought was… Dragonboy? kind of a typical asian fanatic name so when I came back and saw the ranking list I was like… oh snap?.. i could be wrong
Yea just watching AmeriKen play and taking some of the stuff he told me I came back home and have been playing Sagat and I really feel like he’s a much faster character now… I am a ryu player and still will be, but Sagat is pretty interesting. AmeriKen told me he started with Ken on SFIV and then he moved to Ryu and found him to be a little difficult to play, so he went to Sagat with some advice here and there from Japan’s top Sagats and BAM I guess thats how he got where he is today. I personally think Sagats links and strings are a lot harder than Ryu’s
hmmm just checked my Youtube page and quite interesting that my 3rd most viewed video is me getting my ass handed to me by Daigo… funny
BUt yea I am thinking about posting mine and Ameriken’s first matches with Daigo during my trip. AmeriKen fihts him all the time of course.
And for the sake of my Ryu, would someone here kindly look me up on PSN to fight my Ryu so I can show you guys I’m worthy of a match haha remember I’m the gamestop winner of I-40 OKC haha. alright peace everyone back to school and I’ll try to email AmeriKen to get his ass out of big box sometime to check the forum I made for the guy.
hi Amerikken. I would like your opinion on the toughest matches for you as a Sagat player and Sagat in general. Ryu, Akuma and Dhalsim are the only characters who are considered to go even with Sagat. Do you agree with this?
well i emailed him your question and he simply emailed me back…
“I would say akuma, with ryu and dalsm it’s pretty straight forward but with akuma there’s alot of guessing involved… That’s is if you’re fighting a good akuma.”
haha and there you have it… i need to tell him to post things here
