The Ameяican Government Thread

The racist one is the one that I’m laughing at. They’re using all sorts of technicalities just to get around the statement. “Mexico is not a race!” Motherfucker, please. He painted Mexicans as criminals specifically because of where they come from even without data to back it up. That’s racist and you know it. If you’re going to be splitting hairs than it’s no use talking to you because implication has always had a role in politics.

He’s also stoking the anti-Islam flames. Face it, that shit rarely affects us. It’s a problem for Europe and world policy, yes. But it’s still a few amount of people. I find it laughable that the guy is trying to say “islam is not a race!” when over 90% of Islam is made up of brown people. Stop pretending like you don’t picture some Arab whenever Islam is brought up. So yes, it’s racist.

Well, either way I want a Democrat to pick the next justices. I’ve had enough of the GOP’s picks. I fear that if we stack the deck any more we’ll be fucked for the next 30 or so years.

Anybody wanna catch me up on Mike Pence? Don’t really know much of anything about him.

Jeb Bush can’t vote for either candidate. Considering Gary Johnson.

Trump Would Be ‘Disaster for Innovation,’ Say Dozens of Technology Sector Leaders

Dozens of leaders in the technology industry signed an open letter published Thursday in Huffington Post, arguing that Donald Trump and his policies would be a “disaster for innovation.”

We believe in an inclusive country that fosters opportunity, creativity and a level playing field. Donald Trump does not. He campaigns on anger, bigotry, fear of new ideas and new people, and a fundamental belief that America is weak and in decline. We have listened to Donald Trump over the past year and we have concluded: Trump would be a disaster for innovation. His vision stands against the open exchange of ideas, free movement of people, and productive engagement with the outside world that is critical to our economy—and that provide the foundation for innovation and growth.

Take what the “tech” leaders say with a grain of salt. A lot of those motherfuckers want to keep importing cheap labor from India fucking over local guys. They may have some valid concerns, but they are also fucking over a lot of talent we produce.

Not surprising. The tech oligarchs have leaned Democrat for awhile.

Keep la

  1. The Islam problem is not a few amount of people, the vast majority support sharia law no matter where you do the polling or research. Islam is not a race, it is an ideology subject to the same criticism as any other ideology. It is an ideology that condones genocide of non-muslims, rape and totalitarianism. Anti-Islam sentiment is more justified than anti-Nazi’s, at least the Nazi’s believed in support for science and womens rights, despite similar feelings about Semitic people. Don’t tell me what I picture, you’re not a mind reader. If there was 1.6 billion heavens gate members and they happen to be brown, yellow or green I don’t want them imported here and spreading their death cult bullshit. Being brown is not shield from criticism about your cesspool of a culture if it is a cesspool.

  2. Mexico has a problem with systemic criminality, if they didn’t people wouldn’t be fleeing it now would they? Again, I don’t want members of MS-13 walking across the border. Criminals routinely cross the border and do commit rape and murder. A week doesn’t pass where there isn’t an appauling incident from one of their “best & brightest” raping a child or killing people. If Canadians behaved this way I’d support two walls, but they don’t.

  3. Racism is a belief in genetic inferiority, not criticizing someones culture or country. At worst it’s bigoted, at best it’s dead on. When liberals throw this around as you do, it diminishes real racism to the point where it normalizes it and membership in hate groups is skyrocketing, thanks.

  1. Muslims can’t even agree what Sharia law even means, so while yeah they support Sharia for their countries they actually differ in what means. Don’t be disingenuous with me, either. I never said you couldn’t critize Islam–I do it all the time–but you’re painting everyone under that religion with a broad stroke. The comparison to Christianity always comes up because the Bible has some pretty dumb shit in it, too, and people give it a pass because Christians don’t practice like that anymore although yeah they do find some parts and go way off the deep end with it. Not all Muslims interpret the Quran to the letter, either. They see it more as a guide than a strict way to live. But that’s almost every single religion on the planet.

2.) Mexico fights its problems every day, but it’s getting beaten out because of illegal arms smuggled in from the U.S. and large stacks of cash from the drug trade that’s fueled by the U.S. That aside, Americans cause the most crime in this country than immigrants do. There’s a dearth of proof otherwise. Illegal immigrants from Mexico and the rest of Central/South America come here for work and to give their kids a better chance of succeeding in life. So if you have the numbers to refute my claim, please provide it. Because I don’t see anything but conservative think tanks trying to push an agenda saying otherwise.

3.) No, it’s still racism. The term has become a synonym of bigotry. It doesn’t diminish shit either because the behavior, thought process, and fear that comes from what you perceive someone to be is exactly what racism is. The only time people hate when this term is tossed around is when they see their behavior fall squarely under it.

You are right.

  1. 8 out of 10 the most populace Muslim countries imprison and or execute homosexuals and deny basic rights to women and have circumstances where rape is legal. This moderate majority is a myth. Gallup Coexist Index 2009, found that not one of the 1,001 British Muslims interviewed believed homosexual acts were morally acceptable. That’s your “moderates” right there, 60% of those believed they should be imprisoned.

That is unacceptable and incompatible with western society. I’d wager my ballot and hand the pen to anyone who can demonstrate where this moderate majority exists. NAME THE COUNTRY! It doesn’t exist.

Good. now that you, me and Trump acknowledge there is a problem, I hope you agree making sure it doesn’t spread here more so than it already has is a priority, you don’t leave your door unlocked when you live next to a Crack house, you expect people to knock and you check the peep hole to see who it is. You know what’s good for issues with smuggling? Border security. Of course most Americans commit most of the crimes, Americans (Or those in the process of becoming such) are the entirety of the population. That’s a really silly statement, and a obnoxious liberal trait of picking and choosing per-capita or generalized statistics to draw a false equivalency where none exists. Sure, most of em are economic refugees? So what? The U.S can only handle so many it’s why we have a line and expect people to come in legally after being vetted so they aren’t giving cover to the murderers and rapists.

I don’t even believe in prescription drug laws let alone the drug war. You can safely mark me down for legalizing everything so we can skip the nuanced essay. You used to be able to buy a brick of opium in a pharmacy. Only the pragmatist is voting for Trump, the ideological puritan is voting Johnson or hell maybe even Stein if one starts polling competitively.

  1. No it’s not racism, my dictionary still says a belief in genetic inferiority. I live in a world where words have an accurate definition and not endlessly expanding by liberals to demonize those whom they dislike. Not every poorly worded “Uncle Larry” remark negates the comments merit or makes the person a seething racist trying to bring back the third Reich. Racist’s don’t have a long historied record of de-segregating country clubs and Golf courses like Trump does.

Name a tech giant that doesn’t censor for China and other despots in order to engage global commerce. Multiculturalism is not necessary component for technological advancement, it’s a social ideology.

Not a fan, main stream religious right establishment GOP. Selected probably to make the GOP comfortable and shore up segments of the base. Did fairly well on economy, through a bunch of money at pre-school.

Let’s see: I vote for Clinton and get more of the same from 2008- present
While not having to worry (too much) about getting killed by a cop for being a Black Male while still having enough resources to provide for myself.
OR

I vote Trump and can look forward to internment camps and state governments acting a damn fool.

I’ll go with Hillary, and I don’t see how everything that people are bitching is going to directly affect me (so far, no use on the Crime Bill).

I
vote for Clinton and get more of the same from 2008- present

Democrats have presided over Chicago, Philly, Detroit and every other single black inner city for the last 50 years and have done great with it, don’t try a Republican they might cut the murder rate in half like Giuliani did in NY.

Michigan already has a Republican governor that poisoned an entire city’s (with a predominantly Black population) water supply; so there’s that…

You know, if all the people who hated both major candidates voted for Johnson, he’d win by a landslide. You’re sitting there getting defensive over a candidate you can’t stand because you hate the other one more? Why don’t you work together toward a mutually beneficial goal? Both Trump and Hillary rely on divisive politics to energize their support bases. This conflict is exactly what they want. Neither side has to care about issues, just throw around buzzwords, label/classify everyone opposed, and call it a day. No substance, no commitment, and no change; a politician’s dream.

I actively support Johnson, I sent in a donation, if polled I’ll state him as my preference and if he manages to become competitive I’ll vote for him.

Except that the 50 year old lead pipes were there before he was, and the the Obama DOJ investigated and indicted 3 Democrats The City of Flint’s Michael Glasgow and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality’s Michael Prysby and Stephen Busch.

All 3 were appointed by the previous Democratic governor.

Yeah. Flint was as least as much an EPA screw up as it was Snyder’s. The fact that the media pretty much collaborated with the Crats to pile all the blame on Snyder is a par for course media-in-Murica disgrace.

Speaking of Democrats screwing up cities… why the hell is Rahm Emmanuel still Mayor of Chicago?

Oh that’s right. Because Black Lives Matter… Unless a prominent Democrat’s ass is on the line.

Mexico doens’t fight its problems. It only fights those that don’t pay the state enough. Secondly, the illegal arms smuggled in from the US are due to illegal black markets, and or government funded. IT doesn’t help that people in the military are also willing to make cache’s dissapear. So stop with that shit.

And yes, Mexican and central americans come here for a better life. Its a shame their pos children can’t understand that and turn to crime and violence. But I shouldnt’ have to give you the statistics for crime done by hispanics, i mean, just look at the prisons and see how they are filled to the brim with gang members.

poisoned?

how, last I checked the EPA also knew as the state reported it, but the EPA refused to do anything. and the EPA is excslusevly a democratic institution at this point. Are we also going to forget that the city didn’t do anything. It didn’t inform the public, nor it asked for federal assistance via FEMA. But that’s none of our buisness because it was all the fault of a greedy governer trying to keep a state solvent.

It’s funny how Liberals want to blame Americans for Mexico’s gun problem but you will never heard the words Fast & Furious cross their lips unless they are talking about Vin Diesel.

what people also fail to understand is that much of the weapons used by cartels are Russian based weapons. But that’s a non issue neither

yeah, and some of those tech guys (like Elon Musk’s SpaceX IIRC) use government subsidies to remain in business.
