U.S Immigration law clearly states, The president has the authority to bar/restrict the admittance of ANY class of aliens for any length of time they deem necessary for security purposes for this specific reason we see today and have done so routinely throughout history.
The problem is, all of those examples involved an actual government antagonizing the US, so we shut them off in response. ISIS, despite their efforts, isn’t a country and never will be, so there are no ISIS citizens to ban. If a Kurd from one of those countries wants to come here, do we ban them too? Even though their people are the most active forces against ISIS?
If we can’t verify in advance with reasonable certainty you are not a threat you shouldn’t be allowed to visit period. You ever been Israel? I have when you go to Israel they know who you are, why your visiting, if you pose any threat or ever muttered a negative word about them and they don’t waste their time being politically correct about it.
