Chemicals in food have nothing to do with it. As history has gone by and human beings have gained access to plentiful nutrition, they’ve collectively begun reaching childbearing age earlier. Believe it or not, it’s a sign that we’re healthy as a species.
Actually, now that I think about it, scientific advances have given us bigger livestock and healthier crops, which helps increase the food supply. So I suppose chemicals had something to do with it, albeit indirectly.

Of course, we’re civilized now, and we have plenty of reasons to keep it in our pants until it makes sense to take it out. Some of those reasons are stupid; some of them are quite rational. But some people are going to start fucking when their biology is ready to go, and that’s a fact of life. Trying to stop them would be utterly futile.
Society needs to stop treating pubescent teenagers as though it’s their moral imperative to be asexual little drones until marriage. It’s not going to take, so they might as well have access to comprehensive sex-ed, contraceptives, and whatever reproductive health services they need to keep them from populating the Earth with offspring they’re not prepared to raise.
