I will say this. It’s a bad and overtly convoluted superhero flick but I thought Emma Stone was good. And the Green Goblin in this (shoe-horned in like Rhino) was at least better then the Raimi flick. The 2 flicks were less cheesy and hamfisted then the Raimi films, but they try too hard to be like Nolan and fuck it all up.
But really, all I want is a good Venom/Carnage flick. That’s all I want. The more recent Venom comic was pretty good. I could see a solo film based on that.
Also, just thinking out loud, do you think the serious/Nolan-esque tone fits Spiderman?
I personally don’t think it really suits the character. But I don’t think the films should be as cheesy as the Raimi films. The Iron Man franchise, for example, struck the right balance between being serious and funny in a more successful way then the Raimi Spiderman flicks.
I saw it last night. I think it was solid. But I agree with the pacing being a bit off after Spidey had his first encounter with electro. But I found it fun. I think the Harry and Peter friendship could’ve been handled better. It was basically yo been a long time, straight to Harry trippin.
But I enjoyed and was good felt like I was watching an actual comic book translated to live action well. Rhino in a suit is lame sorra but I will see how it plays out. And is that Felicia girl who is Harry assistant gonna be Black Cat? Its never showed or said her last name but shit idk. Im digging the Goblin in this one and I think this series is ahead of the OG trilogy because that series was corny and tried to be wayyyy too serious and thats not how I like Spider-Man
Can’t wait for the next movie to drop.
Hmmm better than the first movie but still pretty shite. It had the misfortune of having too many weird things going on, being way too long and well I had just watched the Lego movie just before hand lol.

Only thing amazing about this movie is how bad it is.
This one is a lot better to me and definitely present the negatives with the positives and you have multiple opinions as well so it’s a multi-review.
I’m thinking about seeing it again. Although I have a lot of issues with it, I was entertained throughout the majority of it.
I just rented the blu-ray and started watching it. Judging from the first city scene, I think I fucked up not seeing it in 3D.
