That’s what ended up happening. The writing for the first 9 issues were bogus. They really fucked it up big time.
Pretty good interview. He did actually turn the book around with just five issues. Good shit. I love the fact that someone on that forum mentioned Waid and Hypertime in the same sentence. They know what’s up. lol
Anyway, I see Bart coming back by the end of next year. No one stays dead. No one. Especially when they have a loyal fanbase(i.e. Wally).

Bart got shafted. But a lot of people have been shafted by DC One Year Later. I am guessing that all that talk about having a plan for after IC was just bullshit for all their titles, except Superman. Seriously, Bart shouldn’t have been that difficult of a character to take the Flash mythos in a different direction. It is just that DC didn’t know what to do except try to force Bart to be another Wally and they gave him to some guys that didn’t know what the fuck to do except bullshit a new origin.
robin got just as shafted or more than bart…at least we know barts gonna come back sometime down the line…he’s fuckin barry’s grandson…hes not dead for long.

But, the real clincher was when Inertia figured out why Bart lost his powers. That was the only good part that really stood out. The rest was alright.
Karl Kesel needs to be the regular artist for this book. Fuck all those other scrubs in that issue.

[details=Spoiler]well… yeah, but that was the whole ‘thing’ with the entire volume 3 of the flash. bart had the entire speedforce, so of course wally is gonna be like, “i got that speed force!” one thing i wanted him to do to inertia was just go to town on his face for a little bit. if nothing else beat the shit out of his chest so nobody is wondering why a statue is bashed up.
art? yes, that was a very nice switchup. it’s not too ‘cartoony’ to JLU (which isn’t bad don’t get be wrong) but it did have a cartoonish feel to it. please keep that fool on deck for the rest of the run.
the batsuit? yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaah. between that and the batman pic on the last page of recent dc comics i have no fucking idea but hopefully we get some good shit and soon.[/details]
