I like how Alisa’s projectile pushes her back a bit, could make jumpins harder to hit on her.
And her cr.hk has insane range!

Punish combos for when you’re in the corner.
A few notes about Idling: It takes 20 Idlings to build a full stock, and you can actually negative edge the kick buttons to rev as fast as possible.
I like how her head doesn’t move at all when she spins during her backdash. Pink hair, a jetpack, retractable chainsaws, and a garter belt … I’m a big fan of this character.

I want to use her as the character interests me but I’m not really feeling her ATM, hopefully she’ll grow on me but I need to find some simple effective combos as my execution is poop

She can link into ABC by doing Cl.HK, Cr.LP, Cr.MK xx St.HK xx Launcher for 242 damage before partner comes in. Not sure how I can work in Lost Access/Quick Access into any of these combos, anyone have a good destroy form combo that starts from those chains?
EDIT: you can do sweep instead of St.Hp xx Dual Boost ender for hard knockdown
Anti-Air counterhit Far St.HP, Cr.MK xx Dual Boost xx Left Thruster. 292 damage and that’s a damn good anti-air
Nah, her VA in Blood Vengeance was Christina Vee. I’m sure they have a different one for this game (she sounds nothing like Vee).
Edit: Also, what use does her DP kick move have? Both it and the follow up?

What about the follow up to it? Is it safe on block or something?
its looks Very Unsafe on Block, and i guess it does extra damage if you can even get it to Connect… the only one i got the follow up on is the EX
I found this one as well. It seems to be the way to go for her more damaging BnB. I love it. Also, if instead you go from Far St.HP into HP Happy Propeller, its very awesome for tag cancelling, especially since I use Juri. Goes right into her jump cancel BnB easily.
One other thing I have found is that in DES after a HP you can do a cr.HP on the way down for a 200 damage total. Timing is tight on it for me at least. However, instead of that you can follow up with another HP for a fewer amount of hits which is easier for a 150 damage total. But the kicker with that one is that if you tag cancel it, the juggle count resets during the strike and it hits like it normally would, setting up a ton of time to go into a combo with your partner. You don’t get these options after the HP if you chain into it. Has to be a single button or a link of some sort.
I was hoping Christina was going to reprise her role. Thats a shame. I loved her as Cerebella as well.
Also in regards to the Cradle Star… If you don’t use the follow up often you can throw it out there to mix things up and maybe surprise your opponent. Or if you just plain know they are going to let off block after the initial hit. I haven’t played with it much so I dunno how punishable the first hit is on block. You do push yourself back quite a bit so it might be okay, but I would imagine that its not a smart idea to use this move regularly unless you are punishing fireballs. Though you probably already know this but with the EX version the follow up will combo because of the wall bounce, but i’m just throwing that out there to make sure. Either way, the follow up on the regular attack looks super unsafe. So use it carefully.
Yea, Ryu can punish a Blocked Cradle Star (DP+K) on Block with a MK or HK Tatsu or even a walk forward + Sweep… so its not safe even without the followup…
So the followup is to prolly keep the opponent on their toes when they are trying to punish it.
On another note, Dash Cancelling with Alisa’s close standing HP seems like a really good hitconfirm… its a little unsafe (im almost positive its -3 on block) but she can combo after it with a cr.lp or cr.mk on hit since it launches

Hmm, so that’s all it’s for, huh. (The dive at the end of Cradle Star.) That’s disappointing.
By the way, it doesn’t look like Ryu can punish the HK or MK versions of a blocked Cradle Star by walking up and sweeping, since she lands further away. Unless the distance of where Alisa lands was shortened by being in the corner. The MK Tatsu usually can’t seem to punish a blocked HK Cradle Star either it seems. But sadly he can still punish it with a HK Tatsu, or MP and HP Hadouken.
Are you sure you mean Cradle Star and not Double Cut? Because that combo doesn’t seem to work.
Its definitely Double Cut. There is no way you can continue that combo from a Cradle Star.
I dont know if any1 has said anything about it, but the Second Hit of Double Cut will whiff Crouching opponents… Making its really unsafe… so dont just throw it out after cr.mk
