Don’t have more info on this matter, but have you guys considered using the “chip damage increase” assist gem the game offers? I’ve no idea how many slots it requires or what conditions/effects the gem has but maybe it’s worth to look into it?
Unless they will change they are:
Chip Damage Boost Lv.1
1 slot, decreases damage by 20%
Chip Damage Boost Lv.2
1 slot, decreases damage by 10%
Chip Damage Boost Lv.3
2 slots, no penalty
I don’t think it will be worth it. Immense Power gems also increase chip damage and increase normal damage instead of decreasing it.
I’m having trouble landing her super art after double cut or double cut>far HP. I can land the first kick but the third always whiffs. Suggestions?
Do cr.hp instead.
I can’t figure out how to dash cancel after HP. What am I doing wrong? Is it a CADC?
Which HP are you talking about?
Cr.HP must be CADCd on the first hit.
Far HP is pretty straight forward.
Close HP is a little laggy on startup so the timing feels a bit strange.
Just make sure you really keep the K button pressed because the dash comes out later than usual.

Does Clock setting have armor as well as hit from both sides?
None of it.
EX does have full invinciblity though. And all of them do insane chip damage.
The best thing Clock Setting IMO is that it’s hitconfirmable from a single des.cr.MP and can lead into a lot of stuff while doing great damage and wall carry.
What can you do to follow up after a clock setting? I usually tag cancel.
Tag canceling is one option that should net very good damage. Juri for example has time do dash once to aim her cr.HP and still get 2 jumpins afterwards. Others should be able to get jumpins AND high juggles. Experiment with super jumps to find what’s best.
Cross art is another option if it’s worth it.
In or close to the corner you can do st.LP, st.MP, cr.HP xx dual boot xx K followup.
If your execution is godlike another possible midscreen combo is s.LP (1 hit) xx dual boot + P, cr.MP xx dual boot + K. Cr.HP should be possible instead of cr.MP but I have never gotten it.
Also you can link a single hit st.HP off clock setting, but it’s not very useful if you have alternatives.
Does comboing in des mode off an overhead(already in des mode) require 1-framers
I don’t think it’s even possible.
Unless you get the AA bound, in which case you are at massive frame advantage.
I’m trying to get get a full grounded combo in des but if they can down back all day then meh =/
You can do the overhead to switch for a combo. Those links are tight though unless you’re cornered.
The OH by itself is punishable on block so it’s not a very good tool unless you read a backslash (lol autocorrect, I’m leaving it this way) or something.
However, Alisa’s godlike chip output is what might eventually open people up.
Des is great for footsies when you have the lead already, otherwise I suggest going for CADC shenanigans in normal stance to keep people on their toes.
I have been using mainly cr.hp and st.mk for pokes. Any other notable normals to mess around with? Also would you happen to know the frame data?
No frame data sorry. cr.MK and st.MP are good pokes too. st.LP seems to be her fastest normal. DES.st.LP is one of the best pokes in the game. Beats almost all spammable lows (Cody, Kaz, Julia, you know which ones I mean), and can be hitconfirmed into boost DES.st.MP if you’re in range. Just watch out for jumps when using it.
Mixing up cr.HP xx LP/MP Rocket Punch and cr.HP xx CADC throw/frame trap/block is very effective if you play it smart. Always make sure you’re in range or prepare to be whiff punished badly.
Is clock setting safe? I noticed that some characters couldn’t punish it.
I think all can punish it at point blank, test with Jack who is slowest I think. It’s a safe tag cancel though.
so off CADC mix ups i’m better off canceling into a fireball than I am back dashing? That what it feels like right now. With the changes to rolls and pandora Alisa is going to be super good! Almost nerf worthy good assuming they don’t nerf her in the next update.
