I was kinda expecting Rival’s version of the website to have pictures of 3S and Marvel all over it. The virtual tour would have only shown the fighters and a free Omega Tony campaign poster plastered over the snack bar.
If you promise SFIV in the website, then people are gonna show up to play it. That’ll put some pressure on them to get two.

Was there any answer to whom the Asian kid who plays like Cammy was? I think he is the only one I don’t know both forum name and face so I can place them together. That plays Marvel anyways. I think I know who Mexican Alex is, but again, if it is who I think, I’ve seen him twice maybe once since that last tournament at Scandia.
Is OmegaTony the guy that worked there with (this is my best guess, I have a shitty memory) the guy named Joe, and ended up being banned? If so how did they do a ft10 (or something like that) that was posted earlier in the thread?
I really want to know who all you are not just by the name on the forum (Rival, Stilt, asianxcore) are the only ones I know for sure, I think spanky is the taller black guy that was nice enough to hold that one get together at his apartment, but I could be wrong.
all the first to 10s we do were in house because of the ban. in fact, trying to setup something between the 2 banned players as we speak. In house is cool, cuz even if you dont play, you can just chill, talk, GGPO, you know. maybe games tomorrow. not sure, i have to see whats up with homework. what about nicks house? are you guys down? I dont really play games anymore unless its with tony, but im down to kick it and get some marvel, preferring 3rd strike though

On Friday do people usually to be there by a certain time?
I usually want to try and get there around 7, but depending on others schedules might not make it until 9 usually. Just curious when the rest of you shoot to get there.
I’m usually aiming to be there not too horribly later than 8. Earlier than 8 isn’t too realistic for me, but I always try to be there well before 9.
First time I haven’t had to work until midnight (on a Friday) in a looooong time.
I’ll probably be there tonight (playing CVS2), not sure what time. Probably around 8 or 9?

Bah. Buttons are shorted on the right side of Marvel. Just knocking on the wood next to them makes punches come out. They say they’ll have it fixed tomorrow, but if anyone got there at about 9 wondering where I was… well, I already found out and left. :bluu:

Marvel 2P busted. The guy I was playing against said he couldn’t dash.
GGXX back in the GGXX cab, but the 2P side is completely busted (they put an “Out Of Order” sign on it). Sucked, since I wanted to practice my Dizzy.
Sorry to all the people I said hello to and then didn’t stay very long. I don’t play Marvel or 3S well, so without CVS2 or even a working GGXX there wasn’t a reason for me to play
