Didn’t you read about my earlier post concering alex, shake and nick? stiltman? I have yet to play, if he’s good he doesn’t have much comp at marvel then at scandia on friday nights… Unless other people out of the area come by and are decent… 
Unless I’m a lot rustier than I think I am due to work usually keeping me until after Fairfield Tilt is closed, I’m honestly just hoping you guys show up in enough numbers that I won’t wonder why the hell I took the time to drive up there. This is the main reason I haven’t gone up there in several months; getting there on Friday nights with my work schedule has been tricky and nobody ever seems to show up any other time.
If you guys don’t disappoint me with the numbers, worry about yourselves holding up rather than me. :nunchuck:
what time are you planning on showing up? oh yeah, all games have been moved to the back where the racers used to be
haha, i think we can be honest and say that there’s definitely not gonna be as big a crowd for marvel as there usually is at fairfield. there’s just a smaller group here, that’s all. hopefully you get this message in time, cuz you’re probably better off saving the trip. not trying to sound unwelcoming at all… but if what you’re looking for is a shitload of people playing marvel, then you likely won’t find.
Well, I went out there and there were enough people willing to play that I rang up 15 wins with BH/Doom/Commando before people gave up. Somewhat questionable as to whether that was really worth the drive through both ends of Marin county’s worst traffic spots (580 into 101 and the Novato narrows)… unless I get a sudden urge to start playing Guilty Gear (and Sirlin hasn’t been able to talk me into it, so don’t hold your breath) or unless people start being a little more willing and/or able to give me much of a challenge, then next time I’ll probably just go back to Fairfield if I’m leaving work that early. Meh. :sad:

I’ll probably be up there again next Friday night, so I’ll try to brush up on my Dizzy before then.
Also I really like how the fighting games are setup now at Scandia. I like that I’m not constantly hitting elbows with the person at the next game, or having to crowd the players to watch the action.
