Hokuto No Ken (Fist of the Northstar). I’m sure they’ll move whatever is played more to a better cab, but HnK is probably going to get a lot of play because it is new and japanese.

I know what you mean tetsuye, but, its just dissapointing when we keep telling management if they could just fix the sticks. thats all. then they buy Guilty Gear Slash. We ask, can you fix the sticks. tech says “oh no point in fixing them when its going into the showcase cab next week”. ok thats fine, but then i hear yesterday that hokuto no ken was purchased and that is going to be in the cab that was for 3s. just more bs
I understand. I guess that’s why it’s nice that there are places like Fairfield Tilt that are managed by fighting game community members like Tharimrattler.
We just gotta get people into the Scandia’s personel to make a difference I guess.
okay… dropped by this morning after taking the woman to school, and talked to the tech for a while. here’s the gist:

hnk and 3s: i tried convincing him that 3s should take the bigger cab instead, and he already had the notion to use the old 3s cab for hnk, cuz i guess it would look better on that monitor or some shit. so yeah, 3s going in the big cab now… not hnk.

3s will eventually get that cab, but he just bought puzzle fighter, and he wanted to put that shit in until hnk arrives. he was working on it when i was there, so i think puzzle fighter was up tonight. i think when the switch happens, puzzle fighter is going in the old war machine, haha.

he’s getting super turbo. i think he wants to get alpha 3 too. i have no idea when to expect those. i guess at least we wouldn’t have to play those on that dumb emulator machine, haha. he asked about other games… wanted to know if anyone would play cfj, haha.

i didn’t go tonight. had to work for the first fuckin’ friday night in years. i’ll probably be hitting up scandia for a little bit every thursday morning since i gotta take my gf to sonoma state nearby, so if you guys wanted me to ask or tell the tech anything, he’s been pretty receptive to my suggestions.

Thursdays are not good for me personally because i get off at 8 and scandia closes at 9. but i know tony, joe, etc. go there randomly during the week.

I imported XX Slash but not AC. I held off on importing AC after hearing about the glitches in the JAP version.
