The replay is very similar to the actual live matches which is why I love the new improvements. Every laggy match I’ve had with people before is now very smooth.
That, and the meter bar adjustments are really the only 2 important things in this patch IMO.
My first game playing in a long time and my first opponent drops after I beat him. Go figure.
I’ve never used a ping-based system before, well at least not where I’ve been paying attention to ping numbers. Anyone one care to fill me on what’s a playable vs. unplayable ping number?
Didn’t think anybody would actually watch the match so I fast-forwarded to the good part lol
I forgot what I killed him with, maybe a jumping jab?
The pings are way off. I’ll basically play anybody if I come across them and trial and error on whats a good ping.
met Mr Murder Mook tonight, he’s coming over for games this weekend. 4 regulars expands to 5 hopefully. Alaska 3s lives!
I ran into a WTF-Gouki-Hax tonight. is that Mr Hax himself or is he an impersonator??
anyway to keep this on topic. played more tonight but yeah not really feeling it. It’s better I guess, but not enough to make me want to play online again! still gonna renew XBL when it comes out over there though, gotta catch up with all the cool people there and play some games.
Seen some 150-170 pings today that were really variable and not as good as others in the same range. Also saw but didn’t play the 495 ping opponent. He readied up immediately. As those guys are wont to do. Even on the second check of his ping. Still 490.
So the game still checks only once, it looks like.
reading this is making me REALLY want that 360 version to drop ASAP. even though it’s not perfect, this is waay better than what i was expecting this patch to be. looks like Iron Galaxy actually cares about their customers.
Why default banned Gill? Gill is playble in home versions. What they shoulda done was nerf Gill, just like how the playable version of Seth is nerfed. People who use Gill are like these idiots anyways:
