You picked the wrong SA for one thing, SAIII not II…
Ken is a way worse character without the hit confirms… dude would be a garbage ass character without them…
Also go in to training mode and set the training dummy on random block and practice confirming cr. mk xx saIII, b+mk link saIII(opponent must block low for it to link, I think), and cl. mp~hp(target combo) xx hadouken xx saIII
You’ll be a better person for it… to make it more entertaining, try those in arcade mode(seems like CPU always blocks b+mk everytime so can’t really try that one in arcade mode)
Sweeps have crazy hit disadvantage(when blocked), and abusing it will cause you to get hit by a huge combo…
cr.mk xx saIII is pretty impossible online unless you have a green bar, and those matches are the only ones you can even take seriously imo…
I use SA I or III, I never use Shinryuken. And I will be hitting all the training, thanks for the suggestions. But not to make my matches more entertaining. Dont really care about that right now.

telling someone who’s pretty new to learn to hit confirm cr.mk to sa3 is just beyond retarded. if you can’t even confirm off target combo or short short why the fuck would you jump to cr.mk?

I’ve been trying to incorporate target combo into my game. But its hard to find the time to use it. A lot of people like to wake up whatever online if your right in their face after knock down. Either that or my timing is off and they will jump and I’ll only get the first hit off. But it’s coming along.
Played against an Akuma today. Didn’t catch the username. They really need to fix that. First match was a little rough as I got used to what I was dealing with. Second round is the money round.

Ken SA1/2 is easily mid mid tier. Maybe high mid tier.
Beginner confirms are target xx super or cr.lk, cr.lp, cr.lk xx super, but definitely not cr.mk xx super.

Uoh to sa3 is waaaay more easy than confirming cr.mk, it’s just a situation to get, no need to confirm, brain dead.

also confirming uoh to sa3 is so much easier than cr.mk to sa3. do you know what you said or do you think you know what you said. because it seems like 75% of the people that post here don’t actually know what the word confirm means.
cr.mk to sa3 is basically ken’s hardest legitimate confirmable cancel. beyond that it’s like shit you need to be TM to consistently do.

It really isn’t hard, I learned to do it in 1 week 
I just complete the motion as quickly as possible so all I have to do is basically push a kick button if I visually confirm it…
Only character I have trouble confirming it on is Chun Li, because she her sprite during hitstun looks almost the same as it does normally…
Easiest characters for me are twelve and necro…
I keep trying it and I do it consistently… it really isn’t as impossible as you guys make it out to be…

You can definitely slip up on UOH. It’s not as easy as trade ultra, shoryu fadc ultra or any ground bounce/OTG stuff in mvc3.
c.MK to super with Ken at least when I was playing regularly was definitely considered one of the harder hit confirms to do consistently. I remember hearing stories from my friend who lives in Japan of players circling the stick in a 360 just to get it more consistent. It’s definitely not a herp a derp thing you can just sit and wait to confirm for. The only thing that comes close to that is Chun Li’s c.MK or b+HP but that’s mainly because those are really long confirm late cancels.

I’m just saying that it would be a good idea to eventually incorporate hitconfirms when he gets the hang of them into his gameplay… because if he knows them, he’ll try to find situations to land them which = him being an overall better player…

You got 13 frames to confirm cr.mk, basically 216ms.
Each tests i did about my reaction time are about 230~250ms, and i absolutely can’t confirm this. At all. Not even close.
Not trying to say you’re lying, i don’t really care, but you should consider yourself as having way above average reaction time and advices like this are just wrong.
I can true kara demon all day, with my average execution, but i don’t think it would be a good advice to say “learn it, it’s easy, i can do it”.
Seeing that JR vid, if i haven’t already bought the game, i would not now. Rollbacks are even more awful on vids.
