so this time, if I do a move, it’s gonna actually come out like I told it to? I remember every console version of 2002 I have ever played having input issues, but when I play the arcade one, everything is peachy.
I didn’t have any problems with the Dreamcast version, even using the d-pad on the standard DC controller.
I have MANY more wishes for 2002 Unlimited Match, though - like putting in all of the NESTS characters they took out, for one. I don’t care how much Lin is disliked, 2002 should be to the NESTS saga what 98 is to the Orochi saga: a compendium of all the characters that appeared, along with a few bonuses (boni?). That means Lin (2000 and 2001 versions), Foxy, and everything else.

Console release in May 09, will be on both 360 and PS3. Will have online play and cost $60. Source is SNKP/Ignition at the GS Manager’s Conference.
Hell yeah, time to get a PS3 Ive been eyeing. What version are you guys getting? Its gonna suck if most of you guys get the 360 version and I cant fight against ya.

seeing as there is no known release date for the arcade version of the game, those release dates are really hard to believe.
I am a little skeptical of them myself, but there’s absolutely nothing else to go for now regarding release dates so it’s better than nothing I guess. Neogaf tends to be pretty reputable as well. Perhaps we’ll see more concrete info at TGS. Was anyone else here at that conference able to confirm this?
