The 2nd KOFXII Thread (debuting at AM Show in September)

with a jab like AOF 1

GG has no priorities?? Hope this won’t count for BB -.-

edit: just looked it up, GG definitely has priorities, where does this rumour come from?

From Dustloop itself. I asked about as to how priority doesn’t exist in GG. An example would be when Order-Sol jump ins with j.HS and you get CH every time. It’s not because it’s a high priority move, it’s because j.HS was active when you tried to AA him thus resulting in you getting CH. And it has long active frames.

Also I think Arstal commented on how clashing was a poor way to deal with priorities in KOF.

Excuse my ignorance, but did it work in that game? It just seems weird to me.

Haoh Sho Koh Ken’s could be jabbed.

jabbing fireballs may be weird but i dont see it as a problem. yes, please jab my fireball that i am running right behind.

Also, you still get damage so I don’t really see the point in jabbing a FB.

Now, clashing against AAs is still really really gay. I hope they fix that.

I suppose then that I’m the only one who read that and then didn’t assume jabs were included…

it’s not just guilty gear but really any game in general besides maybe like virtua fighter dont have a “priority” variable, it’s just slang

Yeah I saw that after I posted. The first thing that popped into my head, though, was that chick in Yie Ar Kung-Fu that throws stars at you.

now THATS old school…

Anybody want to translate this?

It looks like stuff that’s already been said before, but just to make sure…

Wow, big artworks! We haven’t seen that one yet!

I can’t read it, but on another site this guy posted up this link, and said that it explains stuff about the offset system, and it says the game won’t have a storyline.

That’s just what I heard, though.

Good point. I guess ‘priority’ as a term is too generic.
Really does sound interesting though, can’t wait to get to grips with it.

for some reason when you guys mentioned clashing first thing that came to mind was Rival schools :woot:

Project Justice is the bomb…

Iggy from MMcafe translated an interview with the KOF XII producer (and the 2k2 UM producer too).

So, no wall bouncing/juggles?

I told you, Kukino and Ono are drinking the same Kool-Aid. Their philosophies are too similar to be coincidental…

It’s not like there was much doubt, but I guess that’s finally confirmation that MI is not canon…or at least, it has it’s own parallel canon…

I think this is what everyone (who like the new art style of XII sprites) wanted to hear!

Strange… They did that with Another Day, right? Or that’s not official canon?

Thanks for posting this interview!
