ill be honest with you guys, if i had a 360 id be dl the game instead of buying it. at least 80% of the people here pirate 360 software. but then again, fuck microsoft.

Most people won’t pay $60 for it because they don’t want 2-D graphics, and everybody who DOES want 2-D graphics won’t pay $60 for it because it involves spending actual money.
Nop it doesn’t, and there aren’t modded PS3s capable of running pirated software yet either.
Anyways, all I know is that I’m getting this game, unless it turns out to be a huge let down upon release in Japanese arcades. There ARE a few things I don’t like about it (i.e: the small roster, no King, no K’, the list goes on…) but there are enough good things to make me possibly play KOF once again. We’ll see how it goes when the game is out I guess.

I don’t care about piracy usually, but please buy fighting games… This resurrection of the genre isn’t going to last unless it pays of.
Piracy = BUYING a bootleg copy of the game. Like when you walk down the streets of NYC or LA or a major urban area of China and people offer to sell you cheap burned DVD movies or burned 360 games…that it piracy. Selling something that you made a copy of, selling a copy and profiting from it illegally.
Downloading a copy of a movie or a game off of the internet? That’s not piracy. It’s making an unlicensed copy. In some countries ripping a CD to .mp3s and putting them on your .mp3 player is considered illegal copying but not piracy. Or buying .mp3s from I-tunes and putting them on a CD by burning an A-CD is illegal. Some judges in the U.S. have ruled that that is illegal copying of material.
So unless you are copying your games and selling them you are not a pirate yet.
