yeah he’s been dealing with a Achilles most of the year…still gon be out another week or 2…perhaps more. cant say i saw it coming, but the offense has been looking dead lately, and i havent really agreed with the rotations he runs, but i didnt have a problem with Fiz…i agree i dun think it was his fault, but maybe…they tried to amp up some beef between Marc and the coaching staff…maybe there was something to that
can’t have one of your few star players at odds in the media with you. fiz felt like a good player coach, but that gasol thing went up a few octaves from a guy who doesn’t say much.
Fiz was already in hot water with management, the higher ups wanted a Houston type fast paced offense and Memphis even with Conley was one of the slower teams in the league.
Fiz is Spoelstra 2.0 when it comes to rotations and philosophy, so no surprise there.

The Rocket’s have changed the formula. They’re happy taking shots from behind the line instead of right on it and looking for boards if it misses. They’re also passing out from the inside to wide open guys with all the time in the world.
We’ll see come the playoffs but the Rocket’s aren’t trying to just outshoot their opponents they’re trying to outpass them and draw technicals as well.

It isn’t just Donovan, the ball sticks with Melo and Westbrook and neither are efficient or showing the will to change.
To be fair, the reason OKC choked away that 3-1 lead was cause they went hero ball in the 4th quarters. You can blame WB, KD, WB, Donovan or WB but now with KD gone the same shit still happens
