I mean OKC got an emotional win over the Warriors. That was purely to get the monkey off Russ back. OKC is still trash outside of the starters. Which is why they won’t win a 7 game series. Honestly I would play Melo more with the bench as he is walking offense and can keep them in the game without stopping the ball with Russ and PG13.

Someone said it earliee and it is the legit truth. Cp3 means that they constantly have a play maker on the court at all times keeping everyone scoring at a high clip. Late game all CP3 gotta do is run point and get Harden rasy as shots. Harden does what he is made to do plus can still run the team. Cp3 runs the floor and makes harden better late game. That shit is real. I wonder how this Rockets team would have faired back in the late 2000’s when they had maybe 1 to 2 star players on teams
That’s it exactly. Also, the whole squad is hitting 3s. When you’ve got a team shooting as well as the rockets from outside you can do what you want. There are so many easy assists and layups because of the shooting.

The issue for the Rockets is and always has been those shots falling in the playoffs. The reason guys like Barkley (and myself) never thought it would work in GS is because it’s unprecedented. Historically, teams who rely as much on the 3-pointer as GS and Houston don’t win championships. It took literally two of the best shooters we’ve ever seen (one of which is a legit contender for best shooter ever) to make it happen. It’s one thing to beat a team in a single encounter during the regular season, but in the playoffs it has to happen four times in 7 games. I’d like to see them take the West, but they need to prove they can do it.
