in that game, curry barely played in the 1st bc of foul trouble. had to score 25 in the second to have 30 at the half.
as dumb as it sounds, the warriors are so much more fun when durant is out. curry goes atomic, klay gets up so many shots, and whomever they get to fill that 3 spots ends up having the best games of their season. durant makes them a better team, but in terms of pure entertainment, warriors without durant is a team that isn’t so OD physically, but makes the most athletic people in the world look overwhelmed and shellshocked. with durant, it just feels like… business.
I thought they would figure things out by 20 games but clearly they’re taking steps back.
