The 2020-21 NBA Thread: Raptors in 7

Miami Heat 2006 Champions*

Jokes aside, I trust anything Donaghy says as much as I trust the process.

Clippers choked on dicks, and Hornets blew a lead in the 4th quarter for the 5th? time in a row…

at least I got to see OKChoke an 18 pt lead lmao

I’m trying not to think like that just yet lol, but yeah it definitely seems like a possibility when the ball moves the way it has the last couple of games. Time will tell. We’ll have a good idea if this team is the real deal by midseason.

So is that the OKC team being touted as being a challenge to GS? Because if it is oh boy.

This. The guy has been “confirming” fan theories for years now, just to keep his name out there. And people keep paying attention and eating it up.

Anyway, LOL at Barkley. He went from saying Celtics had no chance after Hayward went down to now calling Kyrie the MVP.

I think he said it to counter your statement that the Heat should have 4 titles but if not for that series of events culminating in Ray Allen’s shot he they wouldn’t have won that year either.

And now I’m checking out of being the motive whisperer for someone else

Watching Davis and Boogie rot in New Orleans is the biggest tragedy in basketball. That roster is a God damn mess.

I hope they lose like 20 straight so boogie can go to the wizards or something. Davis stuck in that hell though.

He should come to Phoenix and see what real hell looks like.

lonzo walking away from this is not a good look.

kuzma playing great. and showing leadership.

thread on this is pretty scathing:

Lakers got destroyed in the last quarter by Alex Len.

Kuzma is legit.

Build around kuzma

The thing that strikes me about Lonzo is that his shot is completely dead from everywhere, including free throws. It’s nerves or confidence at this point.

Or maybe it’s just bad form and only now being exposed in the NBA.

The way LeBron played against the Clippers was pretty amazing. As soon as the 3rd quarter started he was always in control. Even his off ball play was great.

Still happy the Mavs at least try, but man another loss … :frowning:

In college, he shot 50% from the floor and 40% from 3p range. He’s still making damn near every shot in practice. For him to go into games and wildly miss wide open shots? There’s something else wrong there.

Somebody also needs to remind him that he’s taller than nearly everybody else at his position.

The Suns fans hate this dude with a passion but if he were on a team that nurtures big man play he could evolve into a legit starter and be the latest in a long list of former Sarver-era Suns players to thrive outside of Phoenix.

Lonzo Ball lacks the intangibles he needs to not be rattled by opposing teams. It has nothing to do with his skills and abilities and more with the fact that he’s mentally weak.

Seriously. Praying PG and Cousins hit free agency, surrounding Kuz with real talent should def make things interesting.

The scouting report on Lonzo is simply too easy to follow, if you force him to his right he can’t shoot the basketball. It’s that simple. We all tried to pretend like his shooting woes don’t matter, but it does. He needs to find a good shooting coach and adjust his game.

edit: when Lonzo cuts his hair he totally looks like Drake man. I keep thinking that’s Drake out there

How dare these bulls win. But at least they look good when they are trying. Just don’t they tarnish that 10 win record.

Kris Dunn looks like a solid NBA player this year.
