itās an opinion piece not an actual story with facts. if it was an actual story. one would think such an article would be found from multiple sources.
So Iād like to say, I donāt post much these days, but my patience is wearing thin with people who want to play fantasy but donāt sign up and we risk our draft days and times being compromised. This has been the ONLY time I can think of where weāve gone out of our way to accommodate all parties involved. Youād think that itād be simple enough for people to respond to an email invitation right?
Iām well aware we got a late start this year, but letās be real. You can expect to see me pop up more around July every year asking for people to play. Why do you people ask to play if youāre going to act like you donāt want to later? You people know I have a serious disdain for inconsistent fantasy players.
Iām genuinely excited about fantasy this year on SRK. Donāt ruin the fun people.
Oh and as always, thereās a prize at stake for the winner this year. Someone beat invincible swordsman. I swear I end up giving it to this man every year.
Yes its just against a 90% Bucs Backup defense but Kizer looks legit AF. I say and stick by Prescott is overrated AF and a bad QB or average at best QB and I think the Browns got themselves a winner in Kizer who seems superior.
i have the same problem irl, i started a league at my job, everyone was talking shit saying make the entry fee high and all this and the third, i start the league, it took them like 2 weeks just to all get signed up, and then another 2 weeks later(now) i still dont have everyoneās moneyā¦the shit baffles meā¦like why even bother saying you want to play if ur going to drag ur feet?
Kaep is better than a lot of teams give him credit for. There are plenty of teams where he could play well for. Regardless the owners have made there stand. If he was Tom Brady last season they wouldnt give a fuck about his protest as winning cures all things. If he led the 49ers to 11-5 he would easily get a job but the owners are gonna use that record as leverage to say no chance. Regardless I donāt blame him for wanting a starting job or at least a chance to compete. In fact if he said he wanted to compete you have no argument about his priorities as he clearly wants to prove he is the better man. Eventually the numbers of viewers watching will hurt the NFL to the point someone will higher him just to get viewings up or they will higher him due to needing someone that can replace a injured QB mid-season if there is a chance to make a post season run.
After watching last nightās pre season gameā¦ the Texans really need to talk to Duane Brown, because their offensive line looks bad and due to the injuries at RB, it got exposed pretty much by the Saints.
Now granted, Ervin, as the principal running back probably factored in (the boy seems to be subpar at the running and blocking aspects of the game), but they let their QBs all game get abused. As good as the defense is potentially going to be, if their offensive line canāt protect the QB or open holes for potential RBsā¦
They need Duane back, obviously, but they were missing the RBs, CJ the tight end, Hopkins and Fuller. The whole offence was depleted. It looked good last week vs. New England when more of the weapons were present.
I had the same problem over a fun league at work, 10 dollar entry pay in. I got everyoneās money finally by week 7. This is why Iāve become a big advocate for playing on draftkings. Plus itās nice to be paid as soon as a contest is over and not worry about those sorts of things.
Hopefully we get a big revamp as far as style of play this year as a result of changing to their scoring system. I will say that draftkings scoring will totally change how you view waiver pickups from week to week.
