The 2014 Black Friday/Cyber Monday Thread: Don't get stomped please

Since @RockBogart‌ is busy I’ll handle the thread this year. Same deal as usual, post here for deals you’re looking for or found.

To get started, Amazon’s countdown to Black Friday sales:

Walmart deals:

You mean black thursday?

I mean Black November.

Don’t forget to check Amazon’s BD deals on Thanksgiving. I got Thor and Captain America for $8 each on Thanksgiving 2013.

I’m on the lookout to get the best Wii U deal possible. I won’t be able to go to stores so online is my only option.

I’m going to be looking out for a couple of good laptops for gaming. Got about $10,000.00 left for this year’s gaming budget.

Good luck to everyone living in states that allow open carry.

Dell appears to be going in hard: $399.99 PS4 with copies of TLOU and GTAV. Also a $329.99 XB1 deal with Asscreed Unity and Black Flag among other things.

All I know is… I’m hungry as fuck this year. I need a new TV and comp. TV comes before all since the older one in my room died on me recently. Probably settle for a nice 32 inch. Then after that I gotta DDT all the fuck niggas stealing the good computer hardware deals. Gonna be one hell of BF for me this year since this is the first time I can spend some real money. Going in I feel good, real good.

@ElderGOD‌ I see your plate is full as fuck. Blowin’ 10k all on BF? Please teach me your technique.

Best bet for Comp deals is Cyber monday as well. Also keep an eye on sites like bfads.net and slickdeals.com. I believe both have apps as well. Also on the gaming front hit up Cheapassgamer as well. Scored some good games and heads up on some killer deals in the past too. Good luck to everyone on your big scores!

I need a decent-sized SSD for my laptop. I need to replace this thing since the actual laptop still runs after 3 years of abuse.

Nigga where u work man? If I have that kind of $$$, i’d invest half of em in an IRA account. I love vidjahgames but idk if i can burn that much dough knowing other stuff I can afford with that.

Predicting it now: at least 5 death-by-stampedes from Walmart’s Black Friday shenanigans.

Online shopping only for me this year.

Fucked around and went to walmart with friends last year. Never again. Saw a fight over a microwave. Only white people fight over microwaves.

Looking for a larger SSD and maybe a laptop if I see one with a WUXGA display.

Can anyone suggest a good headset for games and music/movies? I don’t need the mic, I play pretty much only single player games or stuff where I’d type to communicate anyway. So I would rather have higher quality sound and comfort.

I ordered the AKG K 240 Studios because they seemed pretty cheap, I still have time to cancel that. The only other one that seemed like it’s good for games was the ATH-700x but it’s like twice the price, and I dunno whether a headphone is really worth that much money. Going to use this mostly on my PC.

On the lookout for 22-24 inch monitor, hit me up if u guys scoop out a deal pls. I’ll do the same.

People hit LOL on my comment, I was being serious, I’m scared for you folks

Dude couldn’t even get the right sized bike, probably had to pull a gun on a kid to get that one

Startin to think the cops are onto something over there…

@Raz0r check the deals amazon has on platronics

Where’s that link you limey bastard.

*I almost got the AKG K240’s earlier this year. Since they’re semi-open back you should hear solid sound placement. Stuff like the direction people are coming from, gunfire/waterfalls/animals in the distance and other ambient sounds will be presented with good depth and distance. So as far as gaming and music it should be pretty good. Likewise for movies it should do an amicable job. Plus the cord that goes into the earcup is replaceable, if you get a short or something like that it’ll be easy to just buy a new cord without having to buy a new set of headphones.

The ATH-700X are pretty beloved and work really really good as an all purpose headphone from what I’ve read. They’re fully open back so the sound placement is great and I hear the balance between the mids, bass and treble is really good. I’ve only heard great things about them. The downside is that they’re fully open back so people around you can hear whatever you’re hearing, to an extent. You can also hear what’s going on around you, to an extent. That’s just the nature of fully open back headphones.

What was the price for the 240’s/700’s if you don’t mind me asking? *
