Ah, I see. well, I do like playing Trsih, perhaps I’ll use her on another team, or rotate her in. This is probably not the best place to ask, but whats a Good All girl team with Trish? I just see her fighting with all girls. Morrigan perhaps?
I did see those vids with tron and Thor, and loved them. I always found Thor to be an interesting character. I did try him out, and did decently with him and Tron.
Tron and Hsien-ko were a good duo last game, I just haven’t used her too much here. I ran with the gong assist because I liked negating some projectiles.
Yeah, I was thinking Ammy, since cold stars is so good. I also enjoy playing Ammy, though need to get used to how she plays now with the air weapon changes.
Whoops, I should have mentioned that the :dp:+:atk: is supposed to whiff such that the opponent escapes the beacon bomb with the threat of the servbot falling above them and tron being in front of them.
Out of curiosity, what assist do you guys use for Tron? I myself like Bandit Boulder, since it’s a pretty powerful Projectile and goes full screen. Yes she will rarely be used as an assist, only when she gets tagged out or what not, but it seems good to me. It seems to go throw almost all projectiles except Beams.
Well, I usually pair her with PW. He’s a character that will inevitably get rushed. I’d say having access to an invincible reversal that leads to a combo that gives him three evidence/free Objection at the cost of a bar is pretty awesome.
CC flame is definitely valuable, underutilized tech. A little hard to hitconfirm, though. Otherwise, I’ll use flame as a short lockdown assist for rushdown mixups. It’s short, but it has a great angle and pretty good range.
Boulder is a pretty good assist, but it comes out rather slow - basically, it loses to every other projectile assist.
Aha… so I got 4th at the local Toronto tourney with Tron. I kinda messed up my game winning Tron combos… aha. Ill get the replays as soon as theyre uploaded.

Just sorta works for no particular reason hitboxes:
-Deadpool
-Tasky
-Super Skrull
In the corner (best after command grab) you can choose to link a jab into a combo rather then using a Drill or an assist and scale your combo even more.
…Looks like Nemesis can be added to the list of characters that get a free reset after Tron’s Beacon Bomb. Since most Tron combos lead to the corner, and Nemesis has a corner reset “infinite”…:clapdos:
Of course, the grab doesn’t seem to work on RR at all (I even tried at the height Drones leave him!).
Should Skrull’s Pulverizer assist work as a Clakey D ender? It works off of a grab but I can’t get it to function properly after combos where you let them fall after an air H and relaunch. The last hit on bandit boulder always misses and the combo drops. Am I doing something wrong (this is a very real possibility, I am not good at this game) or is Skrull just not capable of doing it?
