Jas… You know I would love to fight you in some Marvel and you know that. The fact that I work the graveyard shift limits my playtime. That’s something I can’t control otherwise I would love to play you in Marvel. And far as that team. It’s still a work in progress. My only problem I’m having at the moment is Magneto’s magnetic blast cause of the strange input command you have to put in and for some reason I can only execute it when I’m on the first player side. So unless someone has some tip from doing a u, uf, f movement. I’m pretty much stuck there.
I might be there for FN tonight. But no promises. No money to cover the charge unless someone happens to cover for me and I pay them back next time

Mike you know me - all it takes for a game to get on my radar is slapping “PlatinumGames” on it. Remember how I said part of the reason Anarchy Reigns didn’t grab me is because it wasn’t what I thought it was going to be? Well MGR is EXACTLY what I was expecting and moar. Pastor Kojima and them Platinum boyz outdid theyselves. And yeah you are right dude, game makes you feel like a G up until you catch that Shawn Michaels Superkick from a Gekko. Thing about it is, the game is hard, which is awesome, but it also seems pretty fair. Usually, when you fuck up, it’s your own fault, though I will say i feel like I got robbed of a few parries, but that’s neither here nor there…
See, I’m not even gonna really disagree with you here. The camera and lock on mechanic did seem a bit finicky, but not enough to degrade the overall experience for me. Usually just aiming in the general direction of the enemy you would presently like to finely mince gets the job done. Normally in games like these, a lock on mechanic is essential…I even talked shit about DmC for not having one, but MGR, even though it DOES have one, seems to allow you to negotiate crowds of enemies with a little more fluidity. I actually found myself rarely using lock on unless i was just fighting a single enemy anyway.
The camera in and of itself isn’t even that bad. It only became an issue with multiple enemies as you said. The problem is that when at range, niggas are often like, “yo fuck trying to cut this fool with a sword. you see him dice that nigga with the sword on his foot?” and will just pull out a gun and shoot at you. That’s all well and good, but I don’t appreciate being shot at from off screen while I’m trying to cut a Gekko’s kneecaps off. So yeah, that part is lame.
The shit was awkward as hell for me at first, but once the combat clicked i was in heaven. The gameplay is so fast and fluid and just fun as hell. I’d hate to see you dismiss it because of those issues, but if you ain’t feelin it, you ain’t feelin it.
GUYS IT IS VERY RARE TO BE GENUINELY EXCITED ABOUT A GAME, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CURRENT BITCHMADE GENERATION. LET ME HAVE THIS.

-Vandy, Charlie, Beely, and the other tourney crew - y’all ran the shit out of it as always. Good shit.
-To FlyMike and my memphis bredren - Terrell, Rukus, Yung Blayde, Lil Melvin, Bishop, Maxninja, Abe (can’t believe y’all got this fool outside of Memphis) - was really good to see yaw nigguhs. It had been too long. Had a blast chillen and yaw kept the sides split like Raiden used blade mode on my kidneys. “Shinblade vs. Lil’ Majin-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” lolol. Let me know the next Memphis tourney and I’ll make the trip if for no other reason than to kick it.
-Good shit to Trungy for making what, top 4 in Tekken? or was it top 8? Shit it don’t matter really. I just know that Trung did him thing. Also peace to Jio and the rest of the Knoxville crew for coming thru.
-It was also good to see the local crew coming out and supporting. Even some of the AE new blood (Tad, Zach, etc) was there an AE wasn’t even a tourney game at KiT. Had to get some casuals in - those dudes get better every time I see them.
-Peace to Milln for running Gear and Persona and congrats to Lil MAYJEEN for winning gear and 2nd place in TTT2! Who won Persona?
All in all, great time with some great mawfuckas. I wanna see the KiT tradition continue!
