GGS to everyone that came out to hastings last night and big ups to all the people who stepped up to bring equipment. I think we had more set ups last night than normal. If we can keep that up plus the sets I, O and Squab bring no one will be left sitting out for anything ever no matter how many ran bats we run.
IMPORTANT: My copy of Tekken 6 was left in someones PS3 last night. It was the system in the middle on the back wall by Sunstone’s PS2. I am not sure who’s system that is but if you can get at me so I can try to get it back before Evo I would appreciate it
Also I second woot’s gesture for GDbell. Anytime you want match up practice tips or anything just let me know one wed. Hell with as many set ups as we had last night we could just go into training mode and work.

well, I was gonna have a gathering at my place on my birthday the weekend of July 22nd, but since July 24 is sbo quals and Big Jake is doing somethin (I think) on the following Sunday, I will reconsider…no problem

I quickly figured out that button mashing isn’t the best strategy.

That PS2 got a lot of attention last night. Only Fatal Fury and 3S were played on it but that was some good shit. Next week we gotta get in some Marvel, Tenkaichi 3 and MK:Armageddon! Also, fail on Scott for forgetting VF5 :arazz:
On the whole Gdbell thing, you guys are very nice. Much nicer than I think is warranted considering the results of his matches vs everyone. But every community needs those who can forgive and forget. I’m not doing either one yet. But as Woot said, the point has been made (although I really wish I had remembered to record).
On a random note, me Scott and Bobby saw Gene and the other two guys who were with him (sorry, can’t remember names) at IHOP on Riverdale after Hasting’s. Funny, funny times.
I think I might be able to come. It’s a Thursday, but I’ll be able to make it if you have people over on Thursday.
Also, I need help picking up Akuma. I don’t really know where to start… Any help is good help.

Bison dude that switched to Ibuki - WHERE YOU BEEN AT DUDE?! It was nice seein someone else showin Ibubu some love and that Makoto was nice as well. Be good to Ibubu and she’ll be good to you. Me and her have an open relationship right now but who knows. I might fully commit to her later in SSFIV’s lifespan. Anyway, good games dude and please come to fight nights more often.
Gdbell - First off let me say kudos to you sir for showing up last night and taking your whippins like a man. Now…Im not as nice as the others when it comes to people that talk big so Im gonna be completely honest. I really hope last night was a humbling experience for you. If I didn’t know who you were prior to your showing last night I wouldve thought you were some random dude that was just passin by and decided to play a few games. I was insulted that you would do all that talkin on here and turn out to be such a terrible player. Did you really expect to be beating competent players with that pathetic display last night? Let alone a MM. Did you even win a round against me in our set? Such a huge waste of my time. I strongly suggest you level up and start comin to fight nights on the regular. That way you can get the experience you need because whatever you’ve been doin ain’t workin.

Great fight night last night. I like to thank Asian Thunder for some trippy matches in SSF4 and the Tekken 6 guy( sorry forgot you name/tag) that merc on a constant . I like a good challenge in that game( you better than most of my buds online). Next time when fight night meet up , I’ll remeber to bring my adaptor disk so we can play some samurai showdown 6, Break Blow, King of fighter " " and more. If can, if any of you have them, bring Mortal Kombat snk vs capcom 2 and if any one have a copy of Melty blood please bring it.

He’s dumb. He’ll be really good with Ibuki, but seems like a pointless switch. Now he will just complain about Ibuki. I really like the guy, but he is really weird about characters. He just needs to play as a counter-picker, because he’s good with enough characters to counter anything.
I really wish I was going to EVO, but I also have plenty of spending money… Rather than coming back home after Evo with literally $50 left. Plus, I’ve played almost every east coast top player online since super has been out and only beaten like… one or two. Not saying I expect to go to evo and wreck but still. Knowing my luck, I’d be in the bracket with Valle, Ed Ma, Sabin, Flash, and Justin Wong… Then have to fight and get put in losers by Jacob F. in the first round LOL.
