Well after a 5 hour session with MK9 i can say i am torn between Marvel and Mortal Kombat. For one the game is fun both Local and online, online is great in MK found matches very easily and i hardly ever got a laggy match (on PSN anyway, havent played on XBL yet). And i have no problem using my TE for it, it took me a while to get used to transitioning to block from attacking(because of how far you have to go to press RT). But i like it. Sub-zero is just my kind of character( Defensive and Counter heavy, while at the same time not taking away from the offensive capabilities) and I am also Liking Smoke. So i will most likely be playing both Marvel and MK even tho i only have fun playing Marvel Local.
P.S. Also i want to know who lives in east memphis and would be willing to give me a ride to hastings for fight nights (My truck broke down >_<)
Mortal Kombat 
Went to the Walmart MK tournament last night… friend and I got 1st/2nd respectively. I won a free copy of MK for PS3, so glad I didn’t pay money for this game. I don’t see myself playing this at all, but I’ll try to give it a chance this week.
Everyone here seems to like MK but Portal 2 is getting great reviews (Metacritic gave it a 96). Hmm…which to get.

To control. Then again I was using the analog stick on the 360 controller.
Playing with control type A on stick seemed to be okay. The block button feels like it’s in an odd spot but it’s manageable.

You have to use the digital pad. Use the new gray 360 pad. You’ll see the standard layout works well. Paid is going to be king because of the dash cancelling and placement of 1234 buttons (FK, BK, FP, BP)
They don’t do anything, they are just for show (screenshots) unlike last game where they allowed you to go backwards and avoid stuff

I was able to get a new copy of Borderlands GOTY for 360 for 20 bucks last night while waiting for MK to drop.
