Ha, yeah… Tekken actually lags and visibly skips on 2 or 3 of the stages from time to time on 360 (Fiesta Del Tomate and Lightning Storm are the 2 more prominent in lag.) The 360 also drops the motion blur out of nowhere cuz it just can’t handle it. =/
I agree most SSF4 tourneys should be on 360 due to the speed / input lag. But all of this is run into the damn ground. Who expects Evo to buy a fuckton of 360s when they already have PS3s? It’s all money, that’s it. I honestly doubt it has anything to do with controller in this case.

Yeah people were being REALLY ugly toward him after that. I talked to Joshua(Wolfkrone) last night and he said that he has never taken a round but because Flash got up dancing around, taunting and disrespecting him that he chose to. I don’t blame him what so ever. People should not have been calling him a “bitch” and saying he is a bad person. If the tables had been turned they would have done the exact same thing. Oh and Wolfkrone IS a nice guy. :wgrin:

Well, “these” are the people that 90% of SRK posters look up to unfortunately. The real sad part about it is things like the Juicebox Abel dancing bit, some people find it funny but it’s disrespectful and discourteous. It is isn’t even about “being a man”, people want to take fighting games seriously like a sport. Well, the NFL and NBA and other sports have technical fouls and fines and other penalties and don’t even remotely allow shit like that for being unsportsmanlike.
That’s why I always have to laugh about how people are with things…just play your game and be respectful, it’s great to get excited but come on, LOL

Wolfkrone and FlashMetroid were having a mirror, Flash paused before his ultra animation was over and stood up for a second, unpaused it, sat back down and Wolfkrone wanted to take the match because of the pause, even though TECHNICALLY it didnt interfere with the match.
Justin then proceeded to call Wolfkrone a bitch on the stream.
I understand why Flash got excited, a lot of people have been shitting on him in the viper forums, comparing him to Wolfkrone and whatnot, so he got hype when he did so well against the person so many people are saying was better than him. I believe the pause was an accident but the standing up was no accident. Even still, the pause happened in the middle of ultra animation so the flow of the match wasnt technically interrupted.
If you watch it though Flash wasnt super upset about it and even said gg and shook wolfkrones hand when all was said and done.

I agree kodee and the only people being bitches were everybody talking on a mic. I don’t like any top players and this video explains why. The only good I see about the entire situation is that this is how rules are decided on. The situation has to occur and then be ruled upon afterwards. They can call it “The Flash/Wolfkrone Rule”

I thought the rules even at evo state that a pause during gameplay is a DQ? Or are the rules not universal?
Apparently the stipulation also states that if you pause during the match it also must disrupt the flow of the match to be considered a DQ. I think any pausing at anytime in the match is throwing off the flow regardless if the characters are in a neutral state. I don’t know the answer to this but if you pressed pause against a charge character would the charge character lose his/her charge?
If that’s a possibility then even more reason for a DQ.
