Since everyone suddenly has a hard on for online play I guess I should reintroduce an idea that went unnoticed a while ago.
We should city v. city casuals every so often as a way to just promote competition and so everyone can get a feel for where everyone is and suggest way to improve so we can all get better (Just use the Team Battle mode).
I also mentioned just making a lobby of 8 filled with TN players and doing tournament mode but people also shrugged that idea off.
Something else that could be helpful is setting aside a day or two to play someone who you are unfamiliar with and exchanging strategies after some endless lobby for over mic, PM, or whatever.
Maybe everyone will think they are dumb ideas again but there’s no reason not to take advantage of the online features that Capcom implemented on fan request…
