Using Focus attack with multihitting supers they have? I sense this will make them unbalanced in some kinda way.(Esp Yang) I saw something similar with Juri and that Shul Feng Engine Online.

I just found out that there’s going to be a ssfiv tournament here in Clarksville at the Armory starting at 11. I’m bringing a few setups and they need a few more. Is anybody interested in coming to Clarksville? My wife willing: I will accommodate quarter to those who wish to stay for the day.

Well its probably more focused on fps games but ssfiv is in and I think tekken 6 is in it too. Its at the corner of ft campbell blvd and 101st airborne division parkway. Its the building with a tank in front of it lol.

Also Joker, isn’t it way early to say the sky is falling on Guile? All other things being the same, he should still be a credible threat in AE. Plus, since you were an OG Guile from vanilla, at least this means all those tier-whoring Guiles will jump ship.

I’m a pad player and I main Bison, I also play Guilty Gear (that’s my favorite fighting game) and would love to play some of you Tenn people in that. I hear you guys are pretty good.
(I also play ST and 3s on GGPO once in a while)

This!! None of the changes really matter if you’ve never played a character before. If anything you’ll notice them if you try to learn them on the console version and then carry it over to the home version.

I always play a bunch of matches with Bison on ranked now and I just get spanked lol then I go back to Guile. It’s pretty annoying starting over with a different character especially when you switch away from a character who has a good normal on every single button and a projectile.
I want to see how far he drops down but I may just be switching up from U2 back to U1 since it does more damage and does most of its damage from the last hit which means its viable anti air material now. I’m sure you’ll see less Sonic Hurricane Guiles out there, not exactly sure how many Guiles you guys even come into contact with. I don’t see many.
It’s really hard to get away from a character I’ve put a lot of matches into.

Well, of course it’s hard to step away from a char. Just pointing out that some stuff you were claiming did not work anymore like FK fadc U2, does in fact still work. Plus, we have no idea how this edition is going to shake out. Nerfs, Buffs, we won’t have a real idea of the balance for at least a little while.
Also, remember when Super came out, and so many players claimed it was imbalanced? And now most experienced players will agree that Super was in fact, pretty well balanced. It just took us a while to see how it worked out. It will be the same for AE.
We saw many characters win or place well in tourneys during super. I think AE will be even more varied. At least I hope so.
Did you switch to Guile btw? I know you were talking about him before but I wasn’t sure if you switched or were just talking about him.

No, I can’t say I’ve switched to Guile fully. I do play him now, mainly as a break from the style of play I normally favor, which is aggressive/grappling.
In AE, I’m going to retain Abel in my character stable especially as Daigo (lol) says grapplers are going to be strong in AE, but I’ll be working on Adon, who I sub now, Guile as my projectile character, and Hakan as they seem to have addressed a lot of the issues I had with him.
Ugh, I tried to go to bed at a decent time last night, but my neighbor was screaming like the singer from King Diamond while playing Black Ops until 4 AM. I also think I broke my hand (or at least bruised it really badly) from banging on the wall at him until he stopped.
I almost called the cops on him, but he would only do it for a few minutes at a time, stopping for 20-30 minutes at a time before he’d start screaming again… usually just after I’d dozed off again.
hey all my memphis street fighters, heard from chit that yall will be heading to nash sometime soon to break in the new street fighter cabinet. Well i got a damn near empty appt with plenty of space and opportunity if you guys need a base of operations lol.
