I also don’t advise maining Bison unless you plan on spending over 6 months getting your ass handed to you. It’s not that he’s hard to learn, everyone just knows how to play against him, and you have to develop your own style to seperate the casual Bison’s from the I’m taking tournaments Bison.

Yeah, I’m also highly skeptical of seeing why a switch from Guile to Bison makes any sense. It takes a long time to get a groove with Bison and to switch it up enough to throw a veteran off. Bison got nerfed also. How about switching to buffed characters? :lol:

And the overall result is: Style change, I wouldn’t say he got nerfed much. Obviously the biggest change is Ultra II, from what Diago is saying projectile characters aren’t as strong and that’s where that ultra was the most usefull. Better than vanilla, Dunno about Super yet.

Also, Daigo says shotos are useless in AE. lol I don’t buy it but it should make things interesting.
moved to nashville back in like august, went off the radar with school and work really. and LOL i made that challenge back in like july when you went into your respective cave and didnt come back to hastings for like what, a month?
if guile isn’t still good in AE, then you’re doing something wrong. REAL nerfs are ones that change frame data and properties on important moves (which actually resulted in his sobat thing getting BUFFED and only his ultra nerfed). anyway, when you think about it, sonic hurricane was a REALLY GOOD ultra. it was: anti-air, anti-fireball, could combo into it, and easily punished sweeps and stuff on block. about the only ultra that is so useful in so many situations is rufus’s U2 which, GUESS WHAT?, GOT NERFED ALSO. taking 20 damage from backfist and flash kick does NOTHING to affect his core gameplan of turtle, throw fireballs that recover instantly, stick out pokes/anti-airs in between. if you start losing because your flash kick does 20 less damage, you are playing guile wrong.

He got a dmg nerf and LK scissors can’t be abused but hardly anyone was using ultra II without 2xMP or just waiting so shrug. It’s stuff I agree with and it doesn’t fundamentally change him as a character.

Me I found my main and i’m sticking with him no matter what. I like Rufus he’s a good and fun character to play plus he feels more natural to me. I will be trying out Yun in chocolate,strawberry or blackberry or whatever the fuck they gonna call it but only because I used to main Yun in 3s and i’m curious as to how he makes the transition over to AE.

Lol,I couldn’t care less if he had a 100% win streak with him. As my handle implies Godlike_Rushdown, meaning i will rush that shit down! I’ll be messing around with Yun because it makes perfect sense for me to play him since other than Rufus he is the closest thing as far as my rushdown style of play can offer which is the reason why i am doing so much better in the game now that i switched from Cody to Rufus,just ask the guys they’ll tell you:lovin:
But I always said if they make Yun anything like he was in 3s which i also main him in he would be a force to be reckoned with. Still at the end of the day it will be all about mvc3 for me when it comes out. No more using charge characters to hide behind standing hk’s or sonic booms and shit from me,because i will be all over you like white on rice! Ask anyone that’s had the privilege or curse to have played me in mvc2
