Cause it’s boss son. Just something dope to have for the collection in a cartridge form. I don’t have a PC so emulating is out of the question. That is unless I switch half of my Mac to Windows. Which I won’t.
I think repos are pretty cool since there are a ton of good games that haven’t made it to our shores but, have translations in ROM form. A few of the sites I found will actually make custom repos for the games that have no physical cartridge for America. All you have to do is have the translated ROM file, send it to the dude with the cartridge art you want, and boom, brand new SNES cartridge in the mail that nobody has unless it’s on their wack ass PC half ass’ing it. For myself I’m not really into collecting for the value of what the games are worth, I more enjoy just eventually having a really cool collection of the better/best games and not every game for the system. But, I would never make a repo of a game that’s already been released.

Costs too much money and investment for one game that isn’t even gonna run right bruh! I’d have to buy either a PAL SNES or an import cart adapter plus the PAL game which will go for more than the repo (I bought the repo for $30, goes for $60+). Plus it wouldn’t look like all my other carts and the european one has slowdown that the rom doesn’t.

FlyMike: No idea on Pyron, that game was LOL…Karin was stupid fast for some reason too…it’s the only game I know where custom combos weren’t super silly (A Groove CVS2, A3 V-Ism) to have broken the top of the character line because of Yun…even SSF4…custom combos = top tier…

I have an urge to play this game again. Last time was in college on on my friend’s flatscreen and it lagged, we saw every pixel, and nearly everyone picked Guy because they “liked” him but didn’t know how to do any moves lol. With that saturday morning cartoon ass music at the chara select screen. Oh God.
It could have been good though imo. Idk what happened during development cycle. Canceling 3D Fighting Jam to do a rush job on Fighting Evolution. And some of the chara choices to rep certain games. A title like that should’ve been almost stacked. It did get me wanting to play Warzard/Red Earth still to this day. Have you ever had a cab of that game?
