Also, if you guys don’t have Warhammer 40k Space Marine, I would highly recommend checking it out if you like 3rd person shooters, the multiplayer is damn near flawless. Also the 40k universe is just badass, can’t wait to check out the campaign.

Fuck Havel. Halfway through that BS fight my weapon breaks so now I am doing like 50 dmg off a damn back-stab. Prior to that I had died 4 times in a row fighting him.
Yeah, fuck Havel, I’m two handing Astora’s Short Sword +1, with no armor on for speed, and I’m only power hitting for 31 at soul level 22. I keep hitting roll and my guy decides he doesn’t feel like it. This shit sucks.
I will say I didn’t kill him till like lvl 19 or so and by then I had the gear & Endurance to block two of his shots without dying and he was pretty much a breeze when I realized that. I wasn’t even running a great shield just one of the Hollow Soldier ones and I was a pyro start class. If you can get up in his face you can basically circle into his weapon hand and dodge his attacks up close without a roll you just have to watch for his back swing.

Dude … I beat that guy at Level 9 with no clothes and a dagger … just roll forward when he swings and you will roll behind him … other then that just stay locked on and stand just inside of his hit range … if you dont think you are going to make a forward roll just roll backwards and reset the spacing … rinse and repeat …
I beat him doing 14 damage with a backstab at level 9 … lol … so I know at level 21 you can beat him …
Late GGs to Arson and KrazeeJL, I think I need to work on learning more actual set ups, I KIND of know some safe jump stuff and Ive got my own ghetto option select, but other than that I just play by ear with a mix of random too much.
