I know how to do a fight, I know whats up, its more of a matter of, the controls feel unresponsive to the point where I hit the fuck out of the roll button and my dude is like welp, time to lose. Same thing has happened on 2 different controllers now.

IIRC you can do sHK xx HK Legs then link it to EX legs into ultra or whatever. Its hard in general and your not gonna be able to mash the HK legs because you want it to get just the right amount of hits to allow you to link into EX legs. I would suggest learning to piano the HK legs.

Okay. Sounds good. I’m gonna give it a shot when I get home tonight. Hopefully I can slide instead of pianoing cuz I can only piano from right to left at the moment but as with anything else practice makes… me get ever so slightly better and infinitely far from perfect. So if anybody wants to help me train my Chun and Cammy tonight at around 9:45 on live feel free to do so because I desperately need it. I can’t really level up playing ranked because most of the “more skilled” players are arrogant assholes who don’t wanna play scrubs trying to level up which is understandable but where does that leave me? Fighting great players once every 3 or 4 matches and then getting kicked for being free when I want a rematch. Lol.
Oh and Josh you left your stick in my jeep. There’s an auction on eBay if you want it back.
Remind me next time about this at a fight night or gathering and I will see if I can help out. I didn’t learn to piano until playing Gen pretty seriously so for the chun combo I pretty much used it after focus crumple cause its easiest then the dash forward lets you buffer enough hits for legs. Slide method should work but you will have to be really specific in your slide because the fist sHK counts as one of the five inputs required for the HK legs. So press sHK and as it hits slide MK, LK, MK, HK and you should be good. I think the hardest part will be not going to far past LK and hitting it twice, once down and once on the way back. There are a few other options too so we will just have to find what is most comfortable.
As for playing good people that kick you yeah that sucks. Best thing is gonna be to like ask people for specific stuff at fight nights. We were gonna get more sets in and I could have helped but I got caught up in the challenges and then had some myself. Next time just be like “fuck you Sev sit down and help me or I will ash black and mild all up in your face”. It will set me strait.
Lol. Much appreciated. I understand the distractions too. For me it was smoke breaks and watching Josh get bodied (Let’s go Josh stop fuckin around!). Of course I don’t wanna pull you guys from your matches either. I wouldn’t wanna spend my weekly escape training somebody either so I’ll take what I can get from you guys.
