My pool ran beautifully. Dude knew when matches were happening, knew Tokido was going to blow through winners so ran all of those matches first, and started on time. It was actually early by a bit.
I only hope one day these tournaments become more professional and strict when it comes to the actual running of the tournaments. If I ran a major everything would be set in stone the day before. No putting two top players in each bracket so they can have byes… No switching people because they have so and so, and they would start ON TIME with the people running the thing in none of the tournaments. I don’t understand why they have these morons standing around trying to work a half-broken megaphone, when they have a good loudspeaker system. Also they need better separation of pool areas and be more strict on people getting off of set ups. There were a bunch of set ups though. It was pretty nice… but you can never have too many.
Felt pretty bad for Skullgirls. It would have been a massive line if it were any other game… but it was just like 12 guys on two set ups for the most part. That game does look much better seeing it in person. I wanted to give it a shot but I was usually in lines for SF4.

I had every intention of moving away from Cody to this weekend, but after watching momochi for about an hour I learned a shit ton about the character, but missed out on my chance to play him in casuals cause I’m still nervous against the top guys.
I was only speaking of Josh’s SF4 pool being on time and smooth. His Marvel one was okay. It was slower though. Now what happened to Jake sucked. He got completely skipped over for his marvel pool. I finally told him to go ask and when he did they were at semi finals and had to advance him to semi finals in losers. He basically got like 5-6 buys. He had played 1 match and lost and went to semi finals losers and ended up playing the same guy and lost again. The person running those pools and Jacob Sparks pool was Omg itz Andre and some of you may know who he is…well that is all I will say about that. 
Jeremy, I wasn’t referring to you at all when I said people probably wouldn’t come over. I know you have and would if you were closer.
I think some people don’t come to play with Josh because he is 15. I assume that has kept Trung, Jio and Bobby from inviting him if there is a lot of drinking and smoking going on. That or they are playing Tekken or MK, lol. Maybe the new players that are posting will help to get things going here. That would be awesome for everyone. :tup:
Have you boosted your club with any of the titanite shards? I ended up upgrading my club a few times on my one char and its better than anything else that I have found. Even if something does more dmg its not by much and its far heavier.
Trust me I hope the same. I need to get some games in with Josh sometime. I just do not know right now when since I switched to High School and have a Marching Band to have to deal with right now. Let me tell you little kids are the way to go in education. I do not care what anyone thinks these high school kids are out for blood.

I was really hype for that game until I found out that you have to do a scavenger hunt to get all of the content. Fuck that.
Unfortunately with the “new” group of players that are in the community and the people that salivate about them, it causes this to happen. I mean, I may be pretty strict on my tournaments but it’s for everyone’s benefit. No one gets special treatment. Everyone is paying the same amount of money and holding up the tournament for people wastes EVERYONE’s time but unfortunately knowing this we get what, 60-65 people at MWC? Nothing to sneeze out for no advertising but that’s the problem. A tournament that didn’t get the top brass didn’t have the “flock” of players that go because top players were at “their” specific tournament. Again, it’s the starstruck issue with some people and the “non top players” are to blame if they keep this up and not realize they won’t ever get a fair shake…
