The master troll Trollno himself said that tournament players would embrace it. lol He has no idea
Mike: I got some random dubstep tunes on my Zune we can work with. Be warned though I dont know too much about it so it might be “mainstream shit” I just dont know it.
jesus christ, it’s like the worst thing to play and the worst thing to listen to having dirty sex in your house at that point.
WUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBBRRRRRRRRRWUUUUUUBBBBWUBWUBWUBW
MIke: I hear ya…I think when anyone is new to a scene (using yourself as an example) you see how maddening it can be to try and gain some semblance of respect…these days it’s trying to get the new guys to not quit and trying to get the old guard to teach the new guys a little bit of something…that seems to be the only thing going on here besides the usual vs Yun stuff as Jacob hasn’t lost a tourney since MWC…about Gabe, I mean, he could seriously get good at that game in 10 minutes if someone would sit down with him and just show him 3 things with Balrog that work against everyone but that would mean someone would want to show him and he has to have the willingness to take it seriously. That’s the kicker with things, you can tell someone to do something over and over again but if they don’t like losing and don’t like learning and in Gabe’s case I guess doesn’t have time it’s whatever…
I’m still planning on making it out there for a Fight Night…I tried to get out there before I had the baby but each time was oh so close yet so far…
Reminds me, what happened to Chattanooga? Are fight nights still going on?
I swore Ono said that the Gems would be in their own mode and was for casual play in an interview a couple of weeks ago.
Thats cool. I respect it and I was cheering him on. I kinda thought he had it in the bag after the first match. I wish I could do half as good as he does.
Yeah I did too. I thought okay he has this and then the second match I was like oh shit this isn’t good. He just kept letting that guy do the same stuff over and over. He seems fine though and isn’t to bummed out.
He shouldn’t be. He atleast made the the stream
True very true! I wondered if it made him more nervous though.
I wish they had streamed his matches with Fubarduck and PR Rog. He put Fubarduck in losers and did really well against PR Rog.
Know what I like the most?
Cakefarts.
I like GMX next week. Anyone going will get a chance to win prizes on 3rd Strike and ST arcade tourneys, lol
Where is this at?
Do you know who he lost to in MvC3? Hopefully it wasn’t Wendle after all that secret info I gave him.
Ha, that’s a nice job putting Fubarduck in losers though. I had the chance to play him (and luckily beat him) at Final Round in Blazblue. After the match, I had a flood of people run up to me saying “Do you know who you just beat?!” I was still pretty new to the fg scene at the time, so I had no idea. lol
The one that put him in losers is a guy from Atlanta. Truehood I think is his name and Gilty put him out. They were really close matches. The cool thing about him beating Fubarduck is he was using Yun (and he was pretty good) and Josh beat him with Rufus.
Atlanta always seems to have strong players. I imagine beating a Yun is already gratifying, so beating Fubar’s Yun must have felt great.
So Ultimate has a mode where you equip 3 cards to your team, each having a different effect (super armor, speed increases, parries, etc.). These devs are really testing the waters on character customization in fighters…
I’ll prolly go to GMX.
I made it to loser’s semi’s and barely lost to OMG itz Andre. Set was 2-1. Lost to Laugh in winners. He’s solid. But really I never felt like I was incapable of beating anyone. Played solid. Can’t complain.
I need to get out to Memphis soon to kick it, NBA Street and what not.
GGs to spiralbottom
Chris, that is losers semis in pools, correct?
So we know Josh got tied for 33rd and Chris tied for either 49th or 65th…anyone know where Andrew placed?
I didnt even know GMX existed. I thought MTAC was the only convention type thing going on in Nashville, and this one looks more appealing. Looks like it caters to a more grown up crowd.
