I haven’t touched the Valley of the drakes really yet. I’m farming anti-poison mats so I can go back to the swamp and farm leeches for the green shards to make my weapon Divine.

I’m trying to bring the cavalry with me so you might as well take the door off the hinges. Trust me when I say I’m fucking WIRED today(for reasons I won’t discuss). But my girl gone, and I’m too broke to go out with anyone or bet money in the 2K12. So I ain’t got nothing but Crotch Technology for any and everyone.
I’ll be out there a little later. And will try to leave a trail of watermelon seeds for others to follow…
i thought he may have switched to Yun…
LOL @ Flymike
Those old threads on DustLoop and TZ were funny. TN was ALWAYS talking shit to each other but it really was limited to Tekken and Guilty Gear players…
I think the Street Fighter players here just have a mutual respect for one another. There are people that still talk shit here but I think that’s limited to a few people or “trolls” as you guys refer to It’s not like other scenes, and in all honesty sometimes “shittalk” can be misconstrued and be deemed as lack of respect or just people acting like they are in high school. I just never really got involved with it because there is no point it never interested me, I am just there for the competition…it’s cool to rag on people who are your buddies but if you don’t know them it can definitely be taken the wrong way.
I know you guys bring up gdbell as fun and harmless and all that and I am sure he’s changed but he really disrespected our scene, our arcade, our players, and he’s done this multiple times (mind you he has never been to our arcade) so that’s not just “trollin” for laughs. I mean, it’s cool “now” but people forget history for some reason…
What the fuck…you have gone to far Michael I have been getting back on SF but now ima dance all over the fat man tonight. blows dust off of and packs PS3
Real talk TTT2 has some of the best music god damn
who’s getting Tekken Hybrid for the TTT2 demo? this guy is.
Hot damn! I decided to fire up the grill and hook me up some burgers and damn this shit is smelling good! I better hurry up and eat them before someone shows up lol
I wish TTT2 had an international version…
My interest in this game just nosedived.

Also, Baraka Obama for pres:
@ Jason: Lol if Gabe dissed MidTN I’m sure it was unintentional and he’s sorry for it. Probably was just a defense mechanism at the time. Yea it’s all about first impressions, and Gabe hasn’t went to many tourneys inside the city or out, to reshape or change that. And I got mad love for the comradery and mutual respect between the MidTN SF players. So I know for most of them to outright bash someone, Gabe provoked, ignited, and deserved it.
But when I first got into Tekken seriously and started posting on TZ forums and met Cody, Ian, and Charlie, I was the “scrub who talked shit, posted alot, and never traveled.” I thought those dudes were douchebags for seeing me in that light, even though if I look back at old posts, I would’ve called myself worse. I posted “internet gangsta style”, used massive slang, provoked, and misspelled words(though not as many as Josh G. lol, sweet jesus). I got mad at the inside jokes they had about Memphis not traveling, even though that was actually the case and not knowing that dudes already had a rich history with some of the guys here. I really came across as an ignorant asshole. People really thought I WAS the guys in the gifs and videos that Richard posts or tags me too lmao. Then when I was finally able to start traveling and going to tournaments and all that, I settled in, and those 3 guys are some of my closest friends in this community, and I got mad respect for them and connections on real life shit period, aside from video games.
Long story short because I’m about to step out, I feel that Gabe is in that rough transition. Knowing that he wants to game seriously and get better, but isn’t able to come out like he wants. So he posts and talks shit as an attempt to stay relevant like, “Hey, don’t forget about meeee!” I can understand it a bit, because I was a lesser him at one point. Emphasis on “lesser” lol.
I guess it’s just a lower tolerance for that type of stuff these days since gaming is way more accessible than it was then. People feel like they shouldn’t still be having a misrepresentation of you if you’ve been around in some capacity for over a year. And if that is the case, then that’s what it must be. I can’t blame anyone for that. It’s a sensible perception.
@ Sev: Lol LETS GO!! I hope Squab brings some dubstep so we can play it over the T6 and pretend like Namco cares about us in the states.
@Josh G.: Yea dudes are doing that. I dont give a damn. I’m getting it for TTTHD and OST. But those 4 characters in the demo are going to be so ran through and dissected by the time that we get our hands on TTT2 I almost feel sorry for anyone who mains them and doesn’t play cornbread style. Because the gimmicks will be OUT.
Gems wont be used in tournament anyways it’s just a fun thing for casuals. If anything it seems the first step towards the idea Astroth had in the last thread about building your own fighter.
Yeah I figured he would too but he told me before hand that he was not switching characters at all anytime during the tournament and he didn’t. I gotta respect that. I am proud of him. Tied for 33rd in a major is pretty damn good. He made a lot of errors and he is beating himself up about it, but he will learn from it. On a positive note though I am now free. I do not have to go back to the tournament at all if I don’t want to. Hahahaha!!!
