Japan suddenly popped a rubbery one for Vega. I don’t know where they all came from, but they’re really getting a bead on him.
Yeah when I get back to TN we’ll get some matches in right now I’m on winter break back in NJ.
Plex has a pretty good Guile, I’ve played him a few times, even got a Championship match against him since I finally got to G1 a few weeks ago.
Vega has always been popular in Japan. There’s one Japanese level Vega player in America named Tatsu who regularly puts a beating on most of the Cali players, and gives the likes of Valle and Combofiend a run for their money. Vega is dangerous in Japan, but isn’t winning SBO or anything like that anytime soon.

I’ve talked to dozens of people about Vega, and from playing him, I’ve realized something. He’s only literally one moderate buff from being high tier. There’s a dozen things they could give him, all including fixing something about the mask and claw thing, which could make him mid to high tier easily. He’s already super annoying in the right hands, and he could be a beast with just one or two tiny tweaks. I think the same could be said for every character in the game, though.

Well yeah thats pretty much what I meant. And I only played like maybe 4 or 5 matches in that whole hour because apparently after one guy paid for an hour then I did, EVERYONE wanted to play lol. And the only friend of mine that played that day was the Akuma player (who I think picked Ryu against your Dhalsim for one match, Shawn).
The only reason I brought it up is because if I lose, (which happens a lot) Id like to know what the other player was thinking. I was worried after I posted that because I thought someone might take it as me gloating about a few random matches but that was not my intention. And it wasnt meant to be a “Oh, you did this wrong or you should have done this” but more of a “This is what I did, maybe you can take this info and beat me next time, so I’ll have to up MY game”
Christ, I had no idea. I’d never seen a Japanese Vega before a few days ago, and now they’re all over the place.
