I don’t think it’s sped up, but I do think the game feels “smoother”, so that could be it. shrug

(Yeah I was working in Knoxville that day). The tournament was run real smooth and quick-like so mad props to KrayzeeJL. The GC staff were nice and helpful too. The matches were a lot of fun and it was nice meeting everyone. The only thing I would mention for next time is the suggestion that prize support be adjusted for number of players. You guys had a great turnout and it would have been nice to see prize support reflect that better. I’m sure that’s up to the venue, though.
Catching up on the forums, I realize I met Josh and Crystal. Cool dude. He’s who put me out, ha. Those were some fun matches, though… I need more rufus practice!

So what do you guys think of Super now? The online features? I can tell you what did speed up…the fucking loading…once you install the game, it takes no time! I’m diggin the colors and the menu layout! Very nice game. Looks like im in for another long haul! Lots to learn!

Yea dude loading takes no times after install. Straight crazy. And I think you are right Squab the game itself is just overall smoother. The overall presentation is just eye-popping. The screens are tight and I like the menu music now! lol I really like the online features. It seems as if they spent a lot of time in making that feature top notch. Played Ken first (its a tradition of mine when every new street fighter comes out lol) and I like his feel. New Ultra is nice I just haven’t found a way to combo into yet.
I have to admit it…I over-reacted about the Sagat nerf! lol He certainly got nerfed both damage wise and health wise, but he is still a force! Feels the same besides his st. lk that hits twice now and his Tiger Uppercut is still decent even without angry scar. I honestly believe he is still the best character in the game it is just his teir margin has dramatically shrunk IMO. Guile got beefed up too! Dude is sick and his sonic booms are super annoying now. I don’t think he can win fireball wars but he can hang around for a long time during them that is for sure. Jan you have a good Guile man btw.
Akuma feels tha exact same. What do you think Lycan? As for the new characters, Dudely is certainly the best. My Brother was amazed at what he could do and he thought I played with him the best out of all the new ones so I think I will be adding him to my arsenal along with Sagat and Akuma. He takes a lot of work though because of his move commands and learning the large amounts of mix-ups he has. Will certainly be in the lab with this guy all weekend. Juri is a monster! Lycan you should have tons of fun with her man. She can get in your face so quick! lol Like her a lot. Squab again dude, Cody is boss! Criminal Upper just isn’t fair in some cases! DeeJay is cool too and out of all the charge characters I like his feel the most and that jump kick he does is dope. FlyMike he is your type dawg! Hop on that nigga! The surprise of all of them was guy. I actually liked the way he played and he felt solid. It will be interesting to see what people will do with him.
Wish I could come out to PP but can’t. Maybe next week though. I gotta get in some much needed practice and need to learn some stick techniques such as plinking and double tapping. Been working on them, just need to tighten them up.

i didn’t play a single match online last night, just did some trials and messed around in training mode with different characters (mostly dee jay and adon-who sucks) for a few hours. I probably won’t end up getting to power play until around 4 now, but i will DEFINITELY be there.

My favorites were Ryu, Blanka, Gief looks amazing, Guile’s looks way better to me now that I see the pants (special forces Guile FTW), Balrog, Vega looks like he’s Vampire Hunter D or some shit, Sagats, Bison, Abel, Akuma, Gouken, Cammys, Fei, Dee Jay, Guy, Cody, and Dudley. Thye did a much better job on the alternates this time around.
