thanks gamestop for my free copy of super! won that shit ON PAD with the LAMEST BITCH BISON YOU HAVE EVER SEEN ahahahahha. walk backwards, run away, roundhouse. pretty much all i could do, but it was enough ahha! everyone was terrible except for 2-3 decent players with potential. one was actually at the last PP tourney, said he played you sev (balrog player). he was also playing on pad instead of stick so it was hard to judge. i told him and another decent balrog player they should start coming out to PP on wednesdays, so we’ll see if that happens. also, i was like a fucking celebrity after that shit with everyone wanting my gamertag and shit hahaha. as terrible as i was… they wouldn’t even know what to do if they saw me on stick, and i’m not even the best player in Memphis lol…

Thanks again for everyone showing up!!! We ended up having 18 people play in the tourney, which is a major feat for the FIRST competitive fighting game event in East TN in awhile, on a MONDAY, at 11pm at night!!! This is the first time I’ve ever coordinated a tournament and I admire the guys that run 200+ player events - talk about a headache the next day!!! Either way I hope it went as smoothly as it felt to me…
I also want to send out some GG’s to all of the srk/tz community members that showed as well, Spire, Linuka, Zutsuki Riot, Ragingraven, Trung, Dragonplex & V-ismatic - it was great meeting you guys and hopefully we’ll be able to get some more casual matches in real life sometime soon!!!
Maybe it is just me but the game seems like it was slightly sped up. Even my brother thought the game speed was faster. It was the first thing he noticed. Online play is smoother too.

Just a reminder, the tournament tonight starts at 7pm SHARP. If you are late you will have to pay DOUBLE. No exceptions. This is a NEW CHARACTER tournament only. The tournament on the 8th will be all characters and on XBOX 360. Tonight we will be using PS3 and 360. Richard will be running the tournament today. I will be running the tournament on the 8th.
Good shit Eraser!! We were going to come down there but opted to stay at the one on Park which ended up just having casuals. They made us play with controllers as well and during it, I have to say I have no idea how the hell I use to play with a controller. I was holding that shit tekken style trying to plink.
