Hey! Yes, I’ll be there tonight. I’ll be a little late (Training for the St. Jude half marathon and lifting some weights after work) but I will be there to challenge Orell/ Aaron for his spot or defend my spot against Boston Joe or Gene. I’m thinking I’ll be there between 7:30 - 8:00.
With Akuma, I thought he couldn’t grab crouching opponents with Demon Flip before, and now he can. Is this right?

It’s insanely hard to find a body pillow case (Dakimakura) that doesn’t have a half-naked girl on it. I just want a Hatsune Miku pillow that’s cute and somewhat modest… is that so difficult?

No, he could in vanilla, just not on the whole cast. He can on almost the whole cast now, though. I forgot about that. The slight nerf I was talking about was he recovers longer after it. Before you could OS a demonflip throw with a shoryuken, because he recovered almost instantly.

also yeah the Juri subforum is pretty bad too. a lot of it is people asking in combo threads “ok i need a combo that does 500 damage and 400 hitstun and it needs to use two fireballs” and then the juri pros come crawling out of the woodwork with some stupid combo that’s completely impractical and not worth learning at all.

GGs to everyone last night. It was awesome watching everyone fight for the 10th spot.
I’m pretty pumped a lot of people dropped Sagat… time for some new blood… also I think he’s going to help me with my fundamentals,… With Akuma I rely to heavily on tricks/mixups/gimmicks… Sagat doesn’t seem to have much in terms of tricks… so I’m going to be forced to up my zoning, poke game, defense, etc…

For anyone coming to the Ranbat tonight at the arcade, please try and bring your own 360 or PS3 stick as the other we had was sold, so now we are down to one TE and the Vewlix…
The PS3 has only one TE, and unless someone brings a copy of SSF4 for XBOX 360 today, we’ll only have ONE PS3 and ONE XBOX 360 version…
