I’ve officially moved on to Sagat as main… I’m trying my hardest to learn everything about him… but I still suffer from my own failing of wake-up SRK’s and stupid/unsafe play… either way I hope with a little more vitality I will be able to make my stupid mistakes and still hang…
Also, Dream is right about Angry Scar,… it adds some crazy properties to TU and I have a feeling that it really hasn’t been tapped into that well. If you check the Sagat board its so chaotic. The Akuma forums are great and kept updated with good info (usually), but the Sagat thread just SUCKS… either way I think he’s got a lot of potential that people haven’t really figured out yet, including using AS as interrupts to throw peoples timing off during jump-ins and block strings…
Also,… got a PM from a guy from Sweetwater, TN - dude if you want to pick up matches with people in Knox post up in here and I’m sure Josh/Thomas/maybe myself will be available to play…

The Akuma boards suck ass. Its just people from other boards coming to bitch about Akuma, arguing for pages and pages about how a matchup is 5.5-4.5 and not 5-5. Lots of the guys on there are really arrogant, and most have no idea what they are talking about.
One guy, who had no business making a thread about option selects, makes an option select thread that is just like " Hey… uh, if anyone knows what these are, please help. " and then people were just like " wtf is an option select? this thread sucks ". Really helpful.
Vega has probably the best boards ( and they are just decent ) of any character I’ve seen here. Everyone is mostly nice and helpful, and there are tons and tons of match up videos.
The Bison board is OK but it’s been pretty quiet lately. The Dhalsim board is OK too but there are too many character match up threads (most boards consolidate them into one thread).

I has a jobbbbb!! Most of you probably know already but I got the call from my supervisor today about my start date so I am 100% in there. The Akuma boards really helped me learn him, but I only really checked the Sticky threads,… anything below is just BS, I didn’t waste my time reading the crap you mentioned… the problem with the Sagat threads, and with the Akuma threads now, is that none of the guys who were maintaining them in vanilla have updated them to reflect changes in Super… I guess that leaves it open for someone to step in and get them updated, but hey who’s got time for that! =P
Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of good info, but you gotta wade through sooooooo much crap to find it…

Meh… Nah they sucked before super. Akuma is the same in this game. The changes are:
Don’t use Ultra 2 for anything other than Rufus ( maybe )
Don’t FADC shaku in a combo.
Demonflip kick and throw got very slight, harmless nerfs.
EX Shoryu does more damage than heavy now.
No roundhouse loop ( He’s D tier now. )
It sucks for pretty much anyone wanting to learn Sagat. Everyone dropped him and angry scar could potentially change his whole game.
