Yeah. We’ve got a few people that play in Florence, and one guy from Huntsville is going to UNA soon so he’ll be moving here too.
From what I’ve heard, 3s on the original Xbox was utter ass. Wasn’t there slowdown on certain characters’ supers? And wasn’t the netcode complete, utter ass as well? Wasn’t Hugo was good online b/c of how terrible the netplay was?
Also, Capcom’s move to bring back 3s to the 360 is strictly a business move. They’re trying to make as much profit as humanly in this fiscal year to recover from there major loss from last year.
What better way to do that then to dust off one of their old games, (hopefully) stick a decent netcode on it, and release it as DLC coughhalf-the-reason-why-mvc2-was-re-releasedcough.

Phil, I wouldn’t say 3s was “bad” on the XBOX, honestly I had more problems playing the PS2 version than anything, speed and it just doesn’t “feel” right (pressing buttons, movement seem delayed slightly by a couple of frames or so) Fighting games on the PS2 were bad in general sans Tekken…and what amazes me is that one of the main reasons EVO has always used PlayStation was for ease of use amongst players because of the pad/stick thing more than anything. The deal with SSF4 being more like the “arcade” speed for PS3 I don’t buy either considering there IS no arcade version of it as of yet…I really wish they would go to XBOX 360 for fighting games sans Tekken…that system is definitely the best one for fighting games…Guilty Gear works well on PS2 but I think the Wii version is better (though I am not a Guilty GEar expert, what do I know, LOL)
But anyways, online was as expected for a game that requires precision on parrying and such…it was worse than some fighting games but the best ones I ever played online so far are HDR and SSF4…Capcom Fighting Evolution was pretty good but only 100 people played it, LOLOLOL
I could be online between 5-7:30 or 8-10.
