I played about 40 casuals with a good local Sagat today,and fuck if everytime we trade even if it’s of intant HJBK or like x3 feint~tk
he always comes out ahead,i can almost not trade one single exchange and come out ahead.
Like say i start a match with a insta back jump Bk,i space it properly so instead of being kneed out of it i trade and take more dmg.
Feinting 2 or 3 times vs a turtling fb or blanka is second nature now,exchanges that are 2 to 3 feints long just to get one chip in are normal.
Then i drop a match due to like -2 frame from fucking online on 2 bad exhanges and thats it.
I lose.
I trained myself to be very reserved about F.TK’s so getting ryu’s doing a telepathic DP that hit my foot(but my hitbox would not have hit them) safely can bring out my rage.
I usually rage because I get my opponant down to no health then still mange to lose, usually happens first round. an when i’m using balrog and the amount of oppertunities I miss for headbutt>ultra because i have this crappy hori ex2 stick as my bro is stingey and doesn’t let me use the T.E…and funnily enough in training mode i can nail rogs ultra nice and early just online lag is annoying…

I hate turtles and I hate random spammers that have no idea of the matchup.
Also I hate Ryu, Sagat, Zangief, Balrog and Akuma. I’d say I hate Ken too but most of the players that I’ve come across suck horribly with him anyways so its fun beating on them.
I used that stick for a while,just do the replacement bs and it can be a nice little beater stick.

As a side note: if you’re picking Ryu in champ mode, just fucking pick him. All this waggle the joystick shit isn’t going to somehow shift the laws of probability enough to make me think you’re not 95% likely to pick him, and all you’re doing is admitting that you know what a douche scrub you are.
Just saw this, but this EXACTLY. What’s irritating more than anything else is that you just flat out fucking know that there’s no real benefit in winning against idiot scrubs. At best, you’ve just wasted your time and effort; at worst you just got beat because of a long string of stupid shit, like getting hit by a random – truly random, because it sure as fuck isn’t psychic – SRK while doing a max range sweep or poke. Because 3 frame AA move with invul frames really needs to hit from the fucking ground up. There is literally more to learn from playing against the CPU on medium than these people.
Because of shit like this, the most invigorating games i’ve played in recent times online have been PMs where we both pick random. Real talk: randoming against someone doing the same has done more to rekindle my interest in learning other chars than anything else. Period. Sometimes we both end up not knowing shit about the chars besides what we remember from matchup data with the chars we normally play. Sometimes i end up going against someone who seemingly knows how to play everyone. Either way it’s the same: this shit is gold.
for the most part i only get mad whilst doin hard tails lls it just irks my damn nerves how precise some timing has to be or how late u have to wait to do sum combos, i put on the button display just so i can show that I AM HITTING THE BUTTONS but the stupid ass sh*t doest come out -_-

What frustrates me most is my complete inability to block low. Sometimes I see that sweep coming from a mile away, and what do I do? Jab, or standing MK - too late, obviously. Gah! I need to just block low a lot more. Oh, and tech the obvious walk up throws.
After finishing my sticks I sad to weeks in my livingroom trying to get used to the sticks…
But it didnt quite work out, so I endet up screaming to my roomie:
“Oh god damn it, this ****** Zangief owned me like nothing”

My biggest problem overall I feel is a lack of patience and concentration. After about an hour online my execution goes to shit (and not because of lag).
Character specific; I throw fireballs as Dhalsim too close and get combo’ed from jump ins. As Balrog I mess up the cr.lk XX headbutt Ultra setup all the time.
Playing online for any length of time, i don’t know how your concentration wouldn’t go to shit. I’ll start off a night fine just wanting to try out new stuff, then end up doing stupid shit like fireballing someone who has an anti-fireball ultra. Chuns are really a problem since most of the ones online just mash kicks, and after stuffing EX SBK for the 4th time in the match my brain just turns off.
When the match becomes a turtlefest on both sides, I can’t stop myself from jumping in. I end up being hurt. A lot. ):

Today, I linked a solar plexus punch to a c.Hp then shoryuken, cancelled, and was too late on the ultra! I was like FUUUUUUU! FML
