But theyâve definitely built-up the cast and characterization over time. Now itâs feels like a really welcome show, not great by any means but definitely solid territory. They even have a dark sense of humor and comedic-horror that you donât find in most TV shows.
The Grimm stuff did start getting interesting as of late though. Every time Nick gets hit by kind of creature-related poison, he adapts in some way and becomes stronger. He gets hit by some poison that slowly eats away at his eyes? His hearing improves dramatically. Gets hit by zombie creating mind-control substance? The guy turns into an unstoppable/uncontrollable killing machine with enhanced strength, speed, and stamina.
Long-story short: The show started off as a 5/10 and became a 7.5-8.0/10

Grimm has taken 2+ seasons to do what other series have done in half a season. If the writers think that pace is fine, then I doubt theyâll change it up.
My mother likes Grimm and i watch it with her cuz its whats on, but i dont think itâs partcularly good even now. Ive seen it all and its just really ho hum. The wherewolf guy is the only character i like honestly.
