Stretching it, I think you could easily get 15 to 20 episodes. Between the politics going on in D.C., the sub crew’s interaction with the islanders, what is the mysterious item that was placed on the ship, whatever the marines secret mission was, you can get a solid season worth of episodes. After that however, who knows and one must hope they don’t start stretching it out further i.e. was the case with Lost, X-Files and several other shows that may have ran too long.

Ratings haven’t been so hot for it from what I’ve read online. People were speculating maybe it only last around 10 eps. I think they played the pilot twice just to try and boost it.

Vegas is damn good, better then I thought. Weird but well executed combination of a western, meets old time mob in suits and hats, meets police procedural with the backdrop of the beginnings of Las Vegas.

i marathoned season 3 of Louie a few days ago. i’m not ashamed to admit i teared up several times. amazing show.

I wouldn’t say “better.” I think part of it’s being something so vastly different as to distract from being a stolen premise.

England says they’re laid back and European. But we know better.

The first episode of season 10 of Red Dwarf aired 4 days ago…and it’s good. You can hardly tell the guys aged…Kryten looks a little pudgy when seen from the side, but that’s about it. The Dwarf…is back.

Not only can you - I recommend it. Actually watch the last 2-3 episodes of S1 if you feel inclined as they’ll lead you into S2 nicely. The rest of S1 is his unknowingly partner conveniently going to “check something out” when all the Grimm stuff goes down. It gets really old extremely fast.

I was so mad when Life got canceled. I loved that show. Least they got to wrap up most of the major plot threads by the S2 finale.

I liked Elementary. It’s no BBC Sherlock but I dig it anyway and I like Lucy Lu. With how infrequent Sherlock airs, Elementary can fill the void.

Fox are developing a Battlefield Bad Company TV series

EXCLUSIVE: Electronic Arts‘ hit video game Battlefield: Bad Company is headed to the small screen. Fox has put in development Bad Company, an hourlong action comedy based on EA’s bestselling video game from Alias alum John Eisendrath, Sony TV and studio-based Happy Madison.

Written by Eisendrath, Bad Company features the main characters from the game. It follows four renegade soldiers as they exit military life and enter the private sector. But trouble is never far behind as they realize their commanding officer had used them to further the ends of a shadow unit within the government and now wants them dead to cover his tracks. Eisendrath is executive producing with Happy Madison’s Doug Robinson and EA’s Patrick Bach and Patrick O’Brien.

Part of EA’s Battlefield series, Battlefield: Bad Company, a single-player campaign that drops gamers behind enemy lines, was released in 2008 and spawned a sequel two years later. It received mostly positive reviews from critics, who praised the story’s humor as well as the game’s technical aspects. (Check out the game’s trailer below.)

This is the third sale this season for ICM Partners-repped Eisendrath, who is under an overall deal at Sony TV. He is executive producing dramas The Blacklist, written by Jon Bokenkam, at NBC; and Dakota at ABC, which he is co-writing with Andrew Chapman. He created ESPN’s Playmakers and NBC’s* Outlaw. EA is with UTA.*

Did anyone catch Arrow, apparently the premiere was actually decent :wonder:

EDIT: They lied… It’s basically Smallville meets Dark Knight. Pakour stuff was the only good thing about it.

Saving Hope, no surprise it was stopped by NBC. Watch the first 6 episodes, last 10 mins of the 2nd to last episode and last episode to get the whole season.
