^annnnd if they were to keep Charisma Carpenter as a regular that might get me back into watching it. I keep forgetting that show exists for some reason…probably a result of their being too many shows and not enough time to check in with all of them.
sheeeit, I’m quite a few episodes behind on Van Helsing (SyFy) at this point…though that show was off to a disappointing start…I still intend to get caught up on it soon. I am not sure how people find the time to “binge-watch” so many shows these days when there’s so many of them, along with the internet itself and other forms of entertainment being a distraction.
Aaron definitely did not deserve to be eliminated early in the game (the other two fucked up service much worse)…but I feel he would’ve been eliminated eventually due to his lack of confidence.
I wonder how fast Frequency will be canned… I just doubt many people would be interested in that concept/story. It would be a shame because that girl Peyton List is hot as hell.
The Strain season finale is on tonight…the last few episodes have had surprisingly good moments in them…my favorite was Quinlan serving up some DMC action on all those lesser vampire chumps, then managing to super-speed dash away before a bomb went off in the area.
This is probably the worst season of blue team cooks I’ve seen on the show. Actually, Season 3 is the worst, but this one is very close. Paulie has a chance, but even he had a bad service already. This might be the first season where the entire red team gets a black jacket, and the blue team is fully eliminated.
Season finale of THE STRAIN on now… and holy shit The Master has finally returned in a big way here. I think I mentioned this earlier, but the next season will be the last one.
*interesting… Zach finally asked his mom why he hasn’t been turned… I think they’ve generally stepped it up with this time… a shame it’s so short and this is actually the end of the season right here though.
ah shit it is ON… Quinlan with the SSS combos once again!
*sidenote—after hanging out with my dad the past few days… I was again reminded that he is one of those unfortunate people that simply cannot enjoy most shows or movies. I genuinely feel sorry for people like that. Literally every damn time… he goes into this mode of being way too analytical and pointing out the bullshit that is unbelievable or doesn’t make sense…he cant just sit back and allow the show to entertain him. It’s like he can only watch live sports and some news and that is it…that’s all he can “tolerate” on television. As usual, I didn’t even feel like arguing with him on this, but in my opinion at least… television has never been better than it is right now.
Yeah, this kid “Zach” on The Strain, man… I’m sure they will TRY and get the audience to feel bad when/if he finally gets killed next season, but people will remember this and so many other things… and will be thrilled when he dies.
On another note-- Gus’ part of the story this season seemed like a waste of time…it was filler, basically.
For whatever reason, I’m not pressed at all to watch anymore of the DC shows on CW. They’ve officially hit “whenever I get around to it, I guess” territory.
Ok, Stranger Things----I’m only on the 2nd episode, but I was thinking that little kid “11” was the boy that was missing… I kept wondering why the dude that apparently owns the restaurant kept referring to the kid as a female…
even with that NOT being the boy that is missing… with the hair cut so low…still—HOW did that dude know that was a little girl? I would not have been able to notice that. With the hair cut off she looks just like a little boy to me. I think they just didn’t want to waste story-time on that character being temporarily unaware that this is apparently a little girl instead of a boy.
*Vampire Diaries—sadly, the final season is off to quite a weak start, imo… I’m finding it difficult to care about the damn “siren”…probably because they’ve had so many powerful creatures in previous seasons that seemed more impressive and imposing than this one. It was just 2 seasons ago they had to deal with vampires that also have witch power…and before that they already had to deal with the Mikaelson family, which are some of the most powerful, “unkillable” beings in that show’s universe. A “siren” being the big bad evil thing this season just seems a bit lame and not that interesting.
edit–now if we were talking about “sirens” from the Borderlands universe, then that would’ve been awesome. http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Siren sheeeeeit, that time in Borderlands 2 when Lilith phased an entire city?! :wow:
Why the fuck did i watch Deadwood. This show is fucking amazing & cant believe those cocksuckers canceled the show too fucking soon. Fucking fuck. San Francisco cocksucking hbo finish it please.
Man Stranger Things is awesome, finally convince the asian wife to watch. Im on episode 4, way too short.
So Paulie had another bad service in HK, OK now it’s official blue team doesn’t stand a chance. Aziza was a crap cook, but she wasn’t as annoying as the other black chick. Ryan and Heidi are so far ahead of the competition it’s hard imaging them not in the Top 3 at this point.
I hope Shanaia or whatever her name is gets the boot next. She’s slowing becoming Gia annoying.
